Think we arrived before our table had been set - no napkins, S&P pots on the seating. Food average - flatbread poor. Staff welcoming friendly.

Great food, service, price and atmosphere. First visit and we'll be back. We had the 6 tapas and bottle wine for £20, bargain! We loved it. Thank you.

Delicious tapas. best I've had in the country! Brilliant service and great ambience; would definitely recommend. Brilliant for couples, families, or indeed anyone who just wants a lovely meal.

Food was excellent so was the service. Portion sizes were ideal for a sharing experience. loved the idea of menus as place mats, very often I forget what ingredients are in the meal and this serves as a reminder. Our first visit but definitely won't be the last. Excellent

The booking process was very smooth and efficient. The restaurant is lovely, clean and comfortable. However, our party was seated in a place away from the main part of the restaurant which was not as nice looking as what is shown on the website. The service was ok, but there were a few things that could have been better... The waitress began clearing the table before we had finished eating, she came two-three times to remove dishes ad even took some that weren't empty. This was frustrating for us as we had chosen to eat tapas because we knew we would be talking throughout the meal and wanted to nibble the food throughout the evening. One of the dishes was missed and had to be requested ( although there were a few changing of minds during the order-taking so that couldn't really be blamed on the waiting on staff, plus, it happens!) After most of the table had been cleared we were then asked if we would like the bill. No offer of more drinks, desserts or time to digest. We had been chatting a while (this was a reunion meal), but we were by no means the last people in the restaurant and it was before 9.30pm. On walking back through the main (nicer looking) restaurant we saw many other occupied tables. This just put pay to the feeling that we were being pushed out. The food was delicious! Absolutely lush and there are no complaints in that area.

Lovely food, excellent service and keen prices. Highly recommended for an evening out, especially if attending the Charter Theatre afterwards. Also the lunch special deals look very attractive if in town at midday.

It's a shame because this place was highly recommended but in all honesty it was a mediocre at best. Really nice place to go for cocktails and sharing platters for a starting point of the night but not for a sit down meal.

Lovely food and great service. Good selection of drinks and the cocktails are very reasonably priced too. Would definitely visit this place again to eat.

Excellent food and service, music was a bit repetitive. The choice of food on the menu was good and the portions were adequate and very filling.

As always the food was good, we pre booked our table so did not expect to be sat at a table watching a door opening and closing with dirty pots.

Staff were welcoming friendly and efficient, environment was stylish and functional , nice choice of food form the menu , not overly priced I and my friends enjoyed the food , I will be booking again

Went to mundos Friday evening before a show at the charter theatre with my fiancé and another couple. We have eaten here a number of times before and love the food. We ordered 3 dishes each as recommended and a vegetarian platter. This gave just the right amount, lots of choice and everything was very tasty. Staff were very attentive and there was a really good atmosphere in the restaurant. Because we had our show tickets we got 20% off our food bill which was an added bonus. We look forward to going back again soon!

Good offers, had the 6 tapas and wine for 20 pounds. Not a huge range of vegetarian options but good value for money and a nice atmosphere with friendly staff.

Great food and helpful friendly staff, would recommend Mundo Tapas in Preston Lancashire. We have never tried Tapas but on our first visit we found it very good.

Quite disappointed tonight totally different from out other visits - not great service or food plenty of staff who were nice enough but seemed disorganised. Main gripe was bread basket was totally letdown and tapas dishes were not a patch on previous visits +bill waswrong by £7 rectified but took ages.

I ENJOYED MY VISIT. THE STAFF WERE PLEASENT AND PROMPT WITH THE SERVICE AND THE FOOD WAS VERY TASTY AND IT AND THE DISHES WERE HOT AS I LIKE IT. THANKS, I SHALL COME AGAIN, ESPECIALLY WHEN COMING TO A DANCE.

Very good indeed would definitely recommend it but you need to book flights there's an event on at the guild hall. Food was very good

We enjoyed the meal for the most part, There were a couple of things we felt could have been better, twice my daughter has been here and both occasions the Crab toast was not available and the alternative they offered was not a suitable alternative, when wanting Crab toast getting salmon in a creamy sauce is not even close to similar. We sat waiting a while for a waiter (after being seated) to ask if we wanted drinks (they didnt) - we had been queueing at the bar for 5 minutes and were about to get served when the waiter came over and we were seated, we excepted the waiter that seated us to ask if we wanted drinks seeing as we had been stood at the bar when he came and got us but no - we had to get a waiters attention to order drinks - The food came quickly and the staff were friendly and polite just a bit oblivious

Really good, went on a Thursday evening 6 dishes and a bottle of wine for £20. When it all arrived it look small but with a side order of chips we were both stuffed.

Arrived slightly early and was sent to our table which had not been cleaned and set up, but within a few minutes the waiter realised and moved us to a new table. The food was excellent and so was the service. X

Unfortunately food took a while to arrive. When it did it was cold. After main offered drinks or Bill -no dessert offered- disappointing all round

The Tapas dishes were very tasty, we especially loved the crispy chilli beef, and the peach sangria was excellent. Total value for money. Yes, definately recommended, thank you 👍🍹😃

It was a busy evening at the restaurant ... The staff stayed professional ... We're attentive.. The only downside is they forgot my drinks order..... Food was as always lovely and value for money.. Already planning on going back.

Absolutely lovely meal. Food reasonably priced. Varied menu. Friendly chatty waitress. Great atmosphere. Plus 20% off food bill when you show your theatre ticket. Brilliant! Well worth a visit!

Turned up on Saturday the 13th of Feb, was expecting the standard menu but got a set Valentine's menu. This kind of defeated the entire point of Tapas to me. And we had to pay double the usual price for the experience. It wasn't bad, good was good etc. Just not at all expected from a tapas bar expecting you were going for a 9.95 each meal and ended up shipping out 60 quid

went to Thurs fest, excellent food and service. Plenty of dishes for vegetarians and wine was good ,great value for the price,£20 for 6 dishes and a bottle of wine.

This was the first time we had visited Mundo Tapas, and we were both impressed; nice food and the staff were lovely. We will certainly visit again.

Just fantastic , place great, service as soon has we got there, staff really friendly and happy, the food was out of this world we had a set menu for Valentine's Day and worth every penny, great place xx

Nice atmosphere and helpful staff. A wider selection of tapas dishes would be better and the choice of dessert was very limited. We would definitely return though.

Not the best tapas ive had, duk is much better and a better atmosphere, we went for Valentine's Day and wasn't impressed nice looking place, food just ok

Very very good food at exceptional value. We wanted to try the restaurant prior to birthday celebration there and we weren't disappointed with the food or the service, both were excellent.

First time visit & will certainly be returning again! Had the valentines set menu & no regrets! Will be trying the actual menu next time

Good food, lacked a touch of seasoning in places but that may be my personal taste. Felt a little bit rushed but understandable due to it being valentines day. Staff were really really good.
