Nakhon Thai - Royal Docks E16

My experience of Nakhon Thai was great, been a number of times and the quality is just the best every single visit. The food is fantasic and the service is great too.

Truly terrible service and the restaurant wasn't even half full. There was no shortage of wait staff, they are just disinterested. Always trying to avoid eye contact, myself and other diners had to shout over to the bar where they were stood drinking drinks (nice for them to have the option!) and generally standing around, this included what appeared to be the manager. 3 of them took the time to reset a table for 4 while the patrons sat waiting for service. I couldn't, in good faith, leave a tip for the 1 member of staff that seemed capable, because I imagine it's a shared pool where the 5 other members will get a cut for doing less than nothing. The food was okay, my pad thai tasted like they used a bottle of tomato ketchup, the duck main was overcooked - nothing "tender" about it at all, but my company did seem to enjoy her meal.

Recommend to friends and family. Food was nice and Service was good. Will come back again one day with more people. Big thumbs up from here.

Great fresh food, service brilliant, Would highly recommend. Staff brilliant and in traditional dress. Very well priced menu, lovely place Can't wait to eat outside in summer, lovely outside eating area.

This is my favorite spot in Royal Victoria. The food is delicious, the staff friendly and well trained, the location very relaxing and comfortable. 10++++ Will be back a lot

Great food as always, have visited this place about 7-8 times and never fails. Tried new dishes and they were just as delicious. Manager and his staff were courteous and service was quick.

Absolutely brilliant restaurant. It's in s lovely location. We sat upstairs, near the window which was pretty much requested when we got there and the staff were very accommodating. It was a beautiful view of the Royal Docks. The food along with the service was also fantastic. A must try place for sure. Cannot wait to go back when it gets warmer. Thanks Nakhon Thai!

The food was excellent & service prompt and very good also... the only gripe was not doing any draught beers, only bottled and only 1 type. Will definitely re visit

Very good cuisine. Good service and stuff. Very taste desserts. Good vines. Little tricky way to restaurant from public transport. But with car good connection. Have a parking.

Absolutely amazing !! Good prices !!! Very posh and proper!! Staff were amazing and catered to all our needs.. made a complete overall romantic experience for my boyfriend !! He was so mesmerised! Thank you !

Simply excellent Thai food served by lovely staff in a pleasant environment not too far from the Excel Hotels!! Highly recommend the place for groups of two to eight.

Service was a little slow, had to get the attention of waiters. Food was overly priced for the quality and size of portion also some food arrived cold. When there was service it was with a smile. Good views and parking available.

Brilliant restaurant...staff polite and always near by to assist. Food is spectacular...flavoursome and exotic definitely a must for all Thai food lovers. Would googly recommend.

The starters were very nice, the pad Thai was great. Service was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our meal and highly recommend the restaurant.

Lovely restaurant in a lovely location. Service was very nice and welcoming. Everything we ordered was tasty and fresh. My only critique would be that they could increase the serving sizes a little more especially since they charge above average prices. Would recommend this restaurant for special occasions

Excellent service and great food. Highly recommend :) Had the Thai green curry. Very attentive staff and a very warm welcome. Mai tai was also very well made.

The staff were ever so polite and accommodated my dietary needs with no issue. The customer service was excellent and the food was superb! I will definitely be visiting again.

There was a lovely atmosphere, and the staff were very attentive but without rushing us. We felt it was fairly good value, large portions and excellent quality. Would return happily.

Lovely customer service, friendly staff. However Food was inconsistent. Some dishes were a good size and flavourful. However some dishes we just could not eat and didnt taste good.

Lovely selection and range of foods to suit everyones taste. The setting and ambience is very relaxed and perfect for any occasion. Service is fantastic.

Set around the excel centre this restaurant is very good,panoramic views of the dock ,the menu was extensive and each course was professionally presented, the staff were dressed in authentic attire and all the staff and management were very friendly.

Good Thai food, excellent service and a beautiful location. A warning to the ladies out there, for some bizarre reason they think one toilet can cater for a large restaurant full of women and children, expect to queue...

Nice location, overlooking the docks. Food was ok, would be better if they were more fresh. Might be back but depends. Drinks were nice though.

I was very impressed with my visit to Nakhon Thai. The staff went out of their way to provide excellent service (we sat outside in the evening but they assured us that if we got a bit chilly it would be no problem to move us inside) and the food and cocktails were delicious.

Food was good but did not think it was as good as previous visit same time in 2015. so maybe chef has changed. Service was good.

Been to the Nakhon several times, as a couple and with family or friends in groups, very friendly, attentive staff, nice atmosphere, good food, which is reasonably priced. We'll be back...

The food was good, staff was good, menu was good. The cutlery, especially the plates were not up to the standard as stains were visible.

My friends heard about it from word of mouth and we all were not disappointed. Would definitely come again and try a new dish each time.

Best it been really improved on level of food and service great value for food quality and service . Cocktails are lovely try the mango daquiri

The food was lovely, restaurant is great. However, it seems they can't handle being busy. Waited well over an hour between each course. The staff were so rushed off their feet that they weren't taking time to listen to orders properly. They brought me the wrong desert twice, so I ended up cancelling the order. Would recommend it, but don't go on a Friday or Saturday, they just can't handle it.

Friendly staff, nice environment. My rating was torn between a 3 and a 4 the pad Thai prawn noodles were delicious and the deserts were nice and so were the drinks we chose. The rest of the main food was just average. The calamari was over cooked and the fish cakes were rubbery and not nice at all to put it politely these were the starters. I would go back and try different options but I'm definitely not in a hurry to do so.

Nice place for a quiet and lovely meal. A very good place for a family meal. Very good customer services. Parking us not a problem.
