This was our first visit and Nawaaz has gone straight to the top of our list of favourite Indian restaurants. The food was excellent the service with several complimentary dishes was great. Even the bill was a pleasant surprise.

Really friendly staff. Very attentive. Caring "family" feel. Food choice superb, and chefs accomodating to tweak dishes to suit individual preferences and tastes. Generous portions, unexpected extras AND a very reasonable price. I don't visit Leicester often - but will come again to see these guys. Definitely give them a go. Superb.

Been going to this restaurant for long time last night was the pits bad service and food was not the best portions have been cut the nan was size of side plate £9.00 for a chilli King prawn and got 4 prawns stop!! giving freebies and give a decent portion.

Lively atmosphere with great food and so reasonably priced. Fast service and lots of extras which were complimentary. Very friendly staff. Would recommend this place and I will definitely go back again. Opens at 5pm so a good place to go for a pre-show dinner

Good swift welcome, nice complementary dishes, some confusion over which vegetarian dish was which but overall a really enjoyable first visit. We will be back. We like the byo option too.

Lovely food and very fast service. We went on a Saturday night and were seated upstairs. It was very noisy with a group of lads nearby and a group of students opposite. Perhaps not the best setting for a romantic meal, but we couldn't fault the friendly service and value for money. Chicken tikka masala was very sweet but the lamb dish was delicious.

The food was great and the service was brilliant! Nice comfortable, welcoming atmosphere and not too expensive so definitely worth a visit! Its bring your own alcohol so bare that in mind if you want a glass of wine with your meal.

The second time, still good food, still good service, and still a good evening. We are very enjoyed tonight. Thank you very much. Hope next time.

Very busy noisy and crowded on a Fri evg but our reserved table for 10 awaited us. It's bring your own alcohol but there's a Sainsbury on opp side of very busy London Rd. Street parking very difficult but Granville Rd £2 parking nearby. Food was very tasty & good value but as a non-Asian I can't judge its authenticity. Staff very helpful, food came reasonably quickly. Manager gave our large party some freebie sides and was very anxious that we enjoyed evening. On a Fri/Sat evg. it's a good for a group but not for romantic couples.

Absolutely great food and service once again. This was the third or fourth time I've eaten here (mainly before shows at the De Montfort Hall) and every time it's been superb

The ambience was good and the portion of the food given were more than sufficient. We had to takeaway a lot of food which is good.

Waited longer than you would hope for to make orders but once orders were made food came quickly. But compared to the quality of food to our last visit was world's apart. We came back as it was such good food and value. This time food was not as good so value is not viewed in the same way. My starter was looked on in envy last time. Had the same but everyone asked if I had ordered different as it was 3rd of the size and quality of presentation etc. Main meal was OK. But only OK.

Neither Complimentary dishes nor bargain prices will blind knowledgeable curry lovers - the food here sadly is rather poor quality. It was a huge disappointment.

Our first time to visit Nawaaz and it certainly won’t be our last. Our family loved it. Brilliant in all respects. Thoroughly recommend this excellent restaurant.

Ate early on a Saturday evening and it was absolutely packed. Enthusiastic service. Lots of extras provided gratis. An absolute bargain meal. Would definitely go again.

We got loads of free things, poppodums, chutney and onion, bite sized onion Bhajee, one naan ( which was an order mistake, two came instead of one so they knocked it off the bill) two small potions of different veg curry and ice cream. Both the curry’s we ordered were ok, but nothing special, but for the price (£21) it would be mean to rate them any lower. The restaurant was packed with a great atmosphere and the service was good.

Excellent polite and efficient staff. Tasty and variety of food. It’s a really comfortable and clean restaurant. Went for my birthday and we loved it.

Extremely nice food and service. Cheap and cheerful. They provide a lot of complimentary items which means they go above and beyond. Poppadoms and chutneys were provided straight and our food came soon after no long wait. At the end complimentary ice cream and fruit is provided too

Great selection on the menu. Excellent food, with many complimentary dishes to try. Fantastic attentive service and we didn’t wait to long for the food despite the restaurant being very busy. Brilliant value for money.

Lovely food, very good service even though the restaurant was busy, excellent value will definitely use this restaurant again, no drink served in the restaurant bir off licence 2 doors down.

Very friendly staff and attentive. A lot of complimentary dishes including starter, mains desserts and coffee!! Food was very tasty and great value for money. Would definitely recommend.

As always this restaurant is great value for money with lots of extra complimentary dishes and fast service. We didn’t have enough wine glasses or cutlery on our table but staff were happy to provide. The lamb in the rogan josh was a bit tough and my friend said the prawns were rubbery but everything else was great.
