Great food, too much even so we had to take some away. Really friendly and helpful staff, and price seemed too cheap to be true, specially with the extras that hadn't been ordered. Would definitely go again.

Visited for a pre-rugby curry. Had a great value meal. We were given complimentary poppadums, pakoras and side dishes. Good service. Would recommend to others and would visit again.

We went for tea and ended up with a banquet! Fabulous service nothing was too much trouble. We liked the idea of BYO with an off license nearby. So be warned make sure you’re very hungry before you visit.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere and so reasonably priced. Music is a little loud for me. Service was a bit slow due to a large party but that was explained and reflected in the bill. Didn't spoil our evening

Busy. Not the place you’d take someone to impress them (like a first date, maybe). But the food was excellent with several complementary dishes and bringing our own drink made the bill very welcome. Will be going again if that was the norm :-)

Very fast and efficient customer service, the prices were reasonable and the waiters made sure we were well looked after. Free food was given to us whilst we were looking at the menu which was brilliant. I'd definitely recommend a visit.

Staff were lovely, food was amazing. Only criticism is that its very squashed inside and humid...needed some windows open or air con... but overall was fantastic! We will be visiting again!!

Lively bustling restaurant, even though it had only just opened at 17.00. Service was great as was the food. Loads of inclusive dishes and a small bill at the end. BYO with no corkage..

A very cheap Indian restaurant that does serve above average food plus you can take your own booze in which means you get booze at cheap prices service is great staff are friendly and really helpful plus get tons of free food free starters free icecream free coffee free t nan's the odd side dish and even a free main course and free fruit can it get any better I don't think it can at this price 4 of us went in the bill was under £40 we have to take some home as we couldn't eat it all we've been there for a five times now highly recommended

The food was exquisite and the atmosphere great. It was very busy so had to wait a while for food but worth the wait. Also the owner is an amazing individual.

Food was amazing and there was so much. A couple of my friends are vegan and when they mentioned this they made sure that not only the food they ordered, but also all of the sides were suitable for vegans too. We will definitely be going again!

Very busy, however quality of service and food was good. 5 adults ate on a Saturday evening and only paid £45. Wasn’t aware that they did not serve alcohol however there is an off licence next door and they allow for you to take your own drink into the restaurant.

We had a great pre theatre meal here. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was very enjoyable. You may bring your own drinks if you wish but the restaurant also has lager and wine for sale as well as soft drinks. Perfectly located for DeMontfort Hall just a five minute walk away. We will definitely be dining here again.

Great restaurant with a good atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food. It had a friendly buzz. Booking would be essential as it filled up fast. BYO alcohol. Be prepared to be firm as they will try and entice you to eat fruit / ice cream, even when you're absolutely full up!

Really nice would recommend staff very helpful and went out of their way bringing out extra food free which we didn't expect fruit and ice cream also free for afters

Best Indian food I've tasted in Leicester. Relaxed atmosphere, incredible value. Service was excellent in spite of it being a Saturday night. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough.

My friend recommended me the restaurant. That indian restaurant was sooooo nice, after dinner, I was soooooo full. they provided a lot complements without charge more money and their services were also perfect. it seemed impossible that I could ate such a wonderful dinner at such a reasonable price. thank u so much!

Lots of complimentary free food. Okay service, waiters are quite distant with the table and didn’t ask if we were okay or needed any drinks etc Unfortunately, gave my girlfriend food poisoning within the night, however I was fine myself. It’s worth giving it a try.

Was seated pretty much straight away on a Friday night. Great food and service was top notch. Friendly atmosphere, will be back again in the future.

Food is plentiful - including a number of items provided FOC - and service is swift and friendly. Given pricing is very competitive regardless of the freebies, and you can take your own alcohol, Nawaaz is an attractive option for an impromptu meal any night of the week. Highly recommended!

Had a fabulous time at Nawaaz New Year's Eve. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us lots of free extras too which made it excellent value for money. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic service can't fault them at all, I ordered a curry that was meant to be slightly spicy but was very spicy. Apart from that I can't say enough good things. Definitely go back again

We come here often as it’s easy to walk to from Stoneygate area. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly. Food comes out efficiently, they will always cater to your needs - they have some great veggie options.

A fantastic restaurant, I went here on a Saturday at around 10:30pm, it was busier than expected but equally there were lots of waiters which meant that service was brilliant and the food was exquisite.
