Great value meal consisting of the final stretch of Xmas fayre. Tasty Xmas lunch with prompt and attentive service
Great food and service, couldn't fault it really been a couple times and definitely worth it
Fantastic country pub with great surroundings and amazing food. Good choice of craft ales from Anarchy Portion sizes were huge and superb value for money. Little too big as it meant there was no room for Sticky Toffee pudding 😞 Wouldn't hesitate to book The Northumberland Arms again
Lovely cosy pub with great food. In a pretty villlage
Lovely country inn with great staff. They'd been busy because half the menu was unavailable but what we had was good. Paul and Zoe
Quandoo is closing down. This is a planned, phased process and our platform remains available until 30 September 2026.
This was our first visit, we ordered the fish and chips which is normally a good gauge of the quality of the food, I can honestly say this was the best fish and chips we have ever eaten, the fish was soft the batter was light the chips were perfect. The desert was light and flavoursome, the portion sizes were perfect, the staff were amazing friendly and courteous, the time between courses seemed to be precisely timed to not make you feel rushed and to give you time to digest courses. This establishment was recommended to us and we can wholeheartedly recommend it. We plan to return very soon.
Food was lovely when it eventually arrived. Took over an hour to get our food then one of the meals was wrong so my son had to wait even longer to eat. A bit of regular communication would have been nice, even just to let us know they were really busy but no one said a thing. They did deduct the price of my son’s meal off the final bill which was appreciated.
Beautiful visit great food amazing staff perfect doom bar ale
Some items not available on menu More bread needed starter
We have eaten at the Northumberland Arms a few times and it has always been amazing. This time it felt like they had taken it to a whole new level!!!
The atmosphere at The Northumberland Arms was very welcoming and the service was excellent. Everyone’s dishes were well presented, well cooked and flavourful and we will definitely stay here again when in the area!
Absolutely amazing Sunday roast at a very busy time of year. Has to be done.
amazing service and amazing food as always Ten out of Ten
Food was good & tasty but portions could be a bit bigger. Venison cottage pie should have more meat in it & another vegetable with the hispy cabbage (perhaps carrots) were needed. So lacking in quantity for the price.
We had a very tasty Christmas lunch on Christmas Eve at The Northumberland Arms Felton, the food, ambience and service was perfect as usual ...
Would recommend it to my friends and family. Well worth considering next time I book for a special occasion.
Lovely atmosphere and food was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and will definitely be back. Thank you
Always excellent, great food and such a friendly place too in a pretty location.

The Sunday lunches are thr best in Northumberland, excellent quality cookery and produce.

A very lovely friendly and warm welcome on arrival. Trevor and the girls were very attentive without being intrusive. Good food presented well.
Great roast and service. Setting amazing too, will definitely return
Beautiful place , lovely staff! Very welcoming of dogs, gave our girl a bowl of water and treat 🐺 food was delicious and I would say reasonabley priced for the very good quality. Would definitely come again and recommend to friends and family. X
Staff very friendly and food really nice. Will definitely go again
Cosy pub, great staff and fabulous food. Couldn’t fault it.
Good menu, nice service and pleasant atmosphere. The puddings were delicious
The food was lovely, great atmosphere and very attentive staff.
Food was delicious, absolutely perfect. Warm atmosphere, lovely decor, great wine
Perfect location Everything from service to food was first class Would highly recommend
A lovely lunch but we did not like the seating arrangement. The table was up a few steps without a handrail. The table had two dining chairs but on the other side a very soft, low sofa. This was not suitable for one person with mobility problems and two with severe back problems. I think that this information should have been given when booking. It was our first visit and I did not think to ask about such things.
The young waitresses don't seem to be very engaged when talking to customers, not very friendly. Took 5 minutes for them to bring sugar and a spoon for an espresso coffee. The food was OK but the menu seems to be quite a limited compared to what it used to be like. We could always rely on the Northumberland Arms for a good meal, with good fish and seafood specials, and friendly service, but it's not the same standard as it used to be.
The food was outstanding as usual and all the staff are so friendly
Lovely surroundings and service. Pleasant waitress. Nice ambience. Sunday lunch menu. Lamb tough and inedible. I Pre informed of dietary needs before visiting- instead of alternatives things were just removed from plate leaving 2pieces of meat, one carrot one small piece of broccoli and three roast potatoes. No choice of starter or dessert for me and told that by waitress ( who did know of my needs). No non alcoholic wine/ prosecco. Even if I had been called and asked beforehand I would have happily had an agreed alternative. It was such a shame and disappointment today as we were celebrating and really looked forward to this meal. Paid full amount for meal.
Fabulous food. Lovely decor. Good service. Enjoyed the heritage tomato and peach salad.
Every time we visit Northumberland we have to eat at the Northumberland Arms. We love it. The atmosphere, the food and the friendly staff.
Superb as always. Best roast in Northumberland. Thank you to Trevor and the team.
Everything was amazing, food, service, atmosphere, decor. Couldn’t have asked for more to celebrate my husbands birthday. Thank you!
Large chip tasted very good. Meat in pie was stodgy.
Good food and portions. Friendly staff and a very nice environment.
Steak & Ale pie with delicious gravy and thick cut home made chips, finished with a plum and vanilla cheese cake. Outstanding. My 2nd visit in the last 4 weeks and certainly won't be my last. Staff are pleasant and courteous. A nice welcoming atmosphere added to the experience. Dog friendly too.
A lovely restaurant, ideal for our family get together today. Service, food and ambience all excellent.
Really excellent Sunday lunch. We arrived early and were greeted warmly and seated straight away. Would definitely return
Beautiful food and lovely service but a 50 min wait for food seemed excessive. When the food came it was worth the wait as was the best Sunday lunch I have had. Amazing mashed potatoes
Good service and lovely food such a lovely time we all had
Great lunch with family. The service was very good and the food was excellent.
The Northumberland Arms is one of our favourite restaurants. We had an excellent meal in a warm, inviting restaurant with attentive staff. The manager, Trevor, was his usual friendly and welcoming self. The restaurant is truely a gem.
Fantastic roast dinner, lovely attentive and friendly staff. Very dog friendly, they even have their own doggy menu! Would definitely come back if in the area.
