Quite a disappointing experience, very slow service and staff not very friendly, but food was tasty when it arrived

Lovely meal, as usual. Very attentive staff who sat us early. However when booking, I was asked if there was an occasion. I did add that it was a 90th birthday but nothing was mentioned. Enjoyed it all the same though and will be back again.

Super Sunday roast with the family. Service was great and the food was top notch. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Food was great but the service was very poor. The owner had to come and take our order for drinks and food after we had been seated for around 15 minutes after the waiting staff said she would be back to get our drink but never returned. Then waited an age for our deserts to arrive and second drink I had to ask again. Very disappointed after hearing only good things about Northumberland arms from friends.

Attended as a party of 10 for my daughter’s 16th birthday. Food and service were both excellent. Did not feel rushed at all, staff very attentive making sure we had what we needed and happy with our food.

Wonderful Sunday lunch. A warm welcome, excellent service from friendly efficient staff really tasty well cooked food. A bonus that dogs are welcomed and have their own menu. My dog had no complaints. Will definitely return.

We went for the sunday roast. The meat and veg were very good but the yorkshire pudding was burnt to a crisp and inedible. The staff were busy chatting and avoided eye contact and only came up to clear the table. We commented on the yorkshire pudding but very little interest. When paying asked if everything was ok, so clearly comment on yorkshire hadnt been passed on. The person serving would have seen that the yorkshire was burnt to a crisp and shouldnt have served it. The kitchen staff shouldnt have served it yet we could see that they were still serving them as the plates to other tables went by. Would we go back. Unlikely. There is a far better restaurant 20 minutes away where service and food is exemplary.

We are regulars at the Northumberland Arms/Felton. We love everything about it!

We were made very welcome on arrival Our dog was given a bowl of water. Food was excellent as was my French Martini Lucy my Border Terrier really enjoyed her sausage and mash. Staff were courteous and friendly. The nicest Sunday lunch we have had for a while. We will be back soon

The atmosphere and surroundings were excellent. As we only wanted a main course this only arrived 50 minutes after our arrival. All the food was excellent except my pork chop, which while huge was so tough I had to bite some of it off the bone, and mostly fat. In fairness £5 was taken off the bill when I mentioned it. Please don't let this put you off, just avoid the chop.

Rather overpriced and a very limited menu. Only one vegetarian option. Disappointed

We came for a Sunday roast while staying in Amble for the weekend. We were pleased to get booked in at 5pm. We had 2 roast lamb and 2 roast belly pork, both delicious. Desserts were really good, staff helpful

Food was beautiful. All five of us loved our food orders. I have the best fish and chips I have had for a long long time. Service was excellent. Lovely surroundings and would definitely visits again.

Fabulous meal, sticky toffee pudding was best ever, hispi cabbage amazing and so dog friendly. Dogs loved fish and rice. Definitely go back
