Sunday lunch absolutely spot on. Portion size just right with a great selection of sides to add on. We love the cosy atmosphere and the fact your can dine with your dog in the bar area. One of the best Sunday lunches in all of Northumberland!

Fabulous dinner again. We have visited twice previously for lunch and Sunday roast, bar is such a lovely atmosphere, relaxed but still special, staff very friendly and food always excellent. Steak was best we’ve had in a long time, looking forward to coming back!

Had Sunday lunch, one belly pork and one spelt and lentil roast. Both were really tasty, lovely variety of veg etc too. Staff were friendly and service was quick, despite being very busy

The food was excellent. Service was both friendly and professional. Pub/dining room was very clean, as were thr toilets. Highly recommend. Dog friendly too!

Had Sunday lunch. Beef was a bit tougher than i like but was very lean and plenty. Veg cooked perfectly. Desert was outstanding.

Came in for a late lunch/early dinner. Everything great except chips were forgotten but sorted really quickly. Food great as usual and service spot on. Love the Northumberland Arms.

I haven't been here for a few years and I'd never had a bad experience, so I was delighted to see that the quality hasn't deteriorated at all. If anything, it was even better! Amazing food, lovely staff, and a great atmosphere. The BEST Sunday lunch I've had in a very long time.

Booked on the same day and requested an accessible table as we both walk with a stick and need a bit of extra room. We we greeted warmly and our host explained that our table required us to negotiate a slight ramp and a step. (Very thoughtful). The staff were friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. We had the lamb pie which was delicious, melt in the mouth. Neither offer us had room for dessert so the waitress suggested we should order one to go, so we did. Lovely experience and we will be back soon. Terry and Maureen

Good service and large portions. Quick service given how big the pub is. Dogs were very welcome too.

The starter size portion seemed very small for the price (toms, goat cheese salad) and the lamb pie although really beautifully cooked was quite salty - this sometimes happens i think if something has been made, frozen then de-frosted - it seems to concentrate any salt. I have had it previously and now i recall thinking the same. As much as i liked the pie i will definitely remember not to order next visit. Plenty of other nice things to choose from.

Excellent celebration meal, food was delicious- especially the slow roasted lamb pie :) and great service too! Will be back for sure!
