Reception and overall service was good. The starter and desert were excellent, as was the veal main. However, the Fillet of beef was overdone and was quite stringy. The chips were also underdone which took away from the overall experience. Having visited before and the food being excellent, this was disappointing, particularly as there was no enquiry about our main courses during the meal.

We have always found the food fantastic in nova and this evening didn’t disappoint, the service we received was excellent and it just feels a special place to eat ,we look forward to visiting again shortly in the new year .

A good variety of dishes on the menu.The menus stand out for choices amongst other local restaurants.Innovative, stylish and individual food at a high standard.

Warm welcome, great service and excellent which we all enjoyed. The halibut was especially good - well cooked and accompanied by unusual but tasty veg. Good value and highly recommended. Thanks to the team front and back of house for a very enjoyable meal.

As always the meal and hosting were excellent and the fact it was Xmas made the evening extra special. We will continue go to Nova every time they change the menu.

Fantastic food and service . The fillet steak was melt in the mouth. The starters of oxtail tortilinie and veal sweetbreads were inspiring. Fabulous value on a Tuesday and Thursday. This restaurant never disappoints

We've been to Nova before and like it very much. My husband is gluten intolerant and there is always a good choice on the menu that he can eat. The chef even makes delicious gluten free bread so that's a great pleasure. We met some friends there for lunch. They'd never been before and were very impressed. Helpful staff and very pleasant atmosphere. The reason I haven't given it full marks this time is that I was a bit disappointed with my pud. I had sharon fruit crumble. The fruit was hard and could have done with a knife and fork to eat it. This is the first time I've felt a bit let down. The only other crit I have is the cutlery! The knives won't balance on the plate! It looks stylish but not very practical to use. But over all, I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. A 2 course lunch is about £13. A bargain.

From the moment we arrived we knew it was something special. The staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed and chilled. The star of the show was the food, talk about out of this world. It was the finest meal we have ever eaten. Whatever your doing - keep it up. SUPERB!

Nova continues to serve fabulously delicious food time after time, and it's not only the food that is of high quality, the service is also impeccable. What makes them stand out for me is the adaptation of the menu for dietary requirements, nothing is eliminated to "make it gluten free", you are always offered an alternative that is equally amazing, inlcuding homemade gluten free bread! Superb service, flawless food bursting with flavour and cooked perfectly - a trip to Nova is always a true dining experience rather than just a meal out. It's unfair to single out one dish but the trio of sorbets was incredible.

Excellent service, fantastic assortment of flavours, right balance of foods, overall a very great experience. We had taken friends from NZ travelling frequently around England over the years, and they said they had never such good food before anywhere in the UK.
