Excellent food with exquisite flavours, great service, friendly ambience and a nice price too. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys eating and trying new flavours.

Fantastic food, fantastic service and a lovely restaurant. The ladies working were social and welcoming and we felt like our business was wanted. Really enjoyed the evening.

Lovely food well presented, very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient waitress who overheard a mention that it was our friend's birthday treat and the chef wrote a "Happy Birthday" on his sweet plate, he didn't want any fuss but was delighted by this touch. A very pleasant evening recommended to anyone.

Party of 5 for a quiet weekday birthday lunch celebrataion and fair to say all of use really enjoyed the food. Superb quality as normal supplemented by the 'little extras' both at the start and at the end. We will be back again!

Every dish we chose was beautifully prepared and presented. Staff were welcoming and efficient. We were able to choose a quiet corner for our dinner although the restaurant was absolutely full by the time we left. Thanks very much.

Ther are some very positive features about Nova: the room is a a very intimate one, the service is very friendly and attentive, the wine list has some very good value options and the menu is interesting. The slight negative features for us on our visit was that the gap between the first course and second course was rather too long and the dishes didn't quite live up to the promise of the menu. These are minor points relative to the overall experience, however, and we will definitely return.

This was our first visit and did not live up to its reputation. Starters were lovely but main courses were disappointing. The waitress served the incorrect sauces with the duck and steak which obviously wasn't ideal. The fish was overcooked and the steak wasn't cooked medium rare as requested. Desserts as a rule were lovely but the allspice ice cream was quite unpleasant. We will not write it off without another visit.

Nova has great food and a really nice atmosphere. Staff were very welcoming and didn't have to wait too long between courses. Location is great, right near the centre of Heswall.

Nova where highly recommended by members of my family and friends. From moment we arrived till we left the staff & service was excellent. The food was prepared cooked & served perfectly. we will highly recommend nova to anybody who wish to go for a good Quality meal.

Beautiful food and warm & friendly service. We stuck to the early doors menu just because it looked as good as a la Carte and it certainly was. Great value.

Lovely meal, but you have to remember that the water is charged for and all vegetables are extra. Wine a bit pricey. Would go again but this time I will be aware of the extras.

Slow service. After 10 minutes waiting had to ask a waitress if she would take a drink order. Under seasoned and over priced starter of crab scotch egg. Over cooked rack of lamb.

Great selection of starters, bold clean flavours throughout dishes - octopus, monkfish. Sensational Strawberry soufflé. Was driving so just a glass of Champagne. Good to see Churchill's Meio Quiejo Tinto on the list, a cracking wine.

Imaginative menu using good quality seasonal ingredients but the main course portions rather small for some of our party. The bread and starters were delicious.

We enjoyed delicious food, well-cooked and presented with nice little extras--canapes and petit fours. Pleasant,friendly service. Despite being a Tuesday night, there was a good atmosphere.

Excellent service and the food was truly delicious and beautifully presented. Unexpected extras such as bite size appetiser and two different types of bread served with butter and/or olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

We went to Nova to celebrate a birthday. I had been once before and enjoyed the meal, service and atmosphere. Nova did not disappoint last night! From the amuse bouche, homemade bread to the petite fours - the presentation, flavours and service were exceptional. We both had fillet steak which was seasoned and cooked to perfection. There is a good selection of wine available to compliment the food. We would highly recommend eating here.

My son an I had the most beautiful lunch at Nova Thursday - The lovely Chef is a food artist - the best restaurant experience - beautiful setting - amazing flavours - lovely Staff lovely little special extras - just perfect - can't wait for next Thursday when we plan to go again xxxxx

Excellent food. Excellent service. Good value for money. Complimentary taster, plus bread and petit fours with the coffee were a very nice surprise. We went for the early doors menu but the a la carte menu looked very good.

Nice resturant lovely staff food ok but pricey and maybe too over flavored? Obviously a great chef but potentially tries too hard to introduce flavor There was a major problem With ventilation from the kitchen and a huge very strong smelling cloud of blue smoke enveloped the restaurant at one point During the evening!!! No windows to be opened so the door needed to be left open it took a while to clear and fortunately it was a pleasant evening outside ! Over all experience ok ish may not return there is so much choice in this small town

The food was superb. Lovely atmosphere. Great service. Definitely returning soon. Especially enjoyed the complimentary canapés and after dinner treats. Attention to detail is amazing

My family and I have visited Nova several times now and each time never fails to impress the menu is constantly changed and the food is off a very high standard plus the staff are very helpful and you are made to feel very welcome would highly recommend to anyone who hasn't visited Nova you won't be disappointed

This was our first visit for some time. Still offers brilliant food, and relaxed but professional service at sensible prices. We will be back soon.

Meal was beautiful from start to finish. Second time trying the new menu and could not fault any element of the meal and service was equally good. The macaroons at the end of the meal were fabulous and what a perfect end to the meal. We are all looking to go back already!!

Fantastic food, best in Heswall by far, fabulous hosts too, lively warm welcome every time. Booked to go for Christmas, can't wait to be spoilt by Moyo's fab food

The food was excellent and service good. Heswall has become a village of restaurants but this is consistently the best. The menu often features an unusual dish which will reward the adventurous diner.

We went on Tuesday which has the early doors menu running all evening. We had an excellent meal, beautifully presented. The service was very good. A very pleasant bottle of wine for around £16.
