Slow service. After 10 minutes waiting had to ask a waitress if she would take a drink order. Under seasoned and over priced starter of crab scotch egg. Over cooked rack of lamb.

A lovely lunch, elegant and interesting decor, food was sublime...in fact all in all a truly memorable experience. Waitress was lovely too, well done Nova....

We went to Nova to celebrate a birthday. I had been once before and enjoyed the meal, service and atmosphere. Nova did not disappoint last night! From the amuse bouche, homemade bread to the petite fours - the presentation, flavours and service were exceptional. We both had fillet steak which was seasoned and cooked to perfection. There is a good selection of wine available to compliment the food. We would highly recommend eating here.

Excellent service and the food was truly delicious and beautifully presented. Unexpected extras such as bite size appetiser and two different types of bread served with butter and/or olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Great selection of starters, bold clean flavours throughout dishes - octopus, monkfish. Sensational Strawberry soufflé. Was driving so just a glass of Champagne. Good to see Churchill's Meio Quiejo Tinto on the list, a cracking wine.

Imaginative menu using good quality seasonal ingredients but the main course portions rather small for some of our party. The bread and starters were delicious.

My son an I had the most beautiful lunch at Nova Thursday - The lovely Chef is a food artist - the best restaurant experience - beautiful setting - amazing flavours - lovely Staff lovely little special extras - just perfect - can't wait for next Thursday when we plan to go again xxxxx

We enjoyed delicious food, well-cooked and presented with nice little extras--canapes and petit fours. Pleasant,friendly service. Despite being a Tuesday night, there was a good atmosphere.

Excellent food. Excellent service. Good value for money. Complimentary taster, plus bread and petit fours with the coffee were a very nice surprise. We went for the early doors menu but the a la carte menu looked very good.

Nice resturant lovely staff food ok but pricey and maybe too over flavored? Obviously a great chef but potentially tries too hard to introduce flavor There was a major problem With ventilation from the kitchen and a huge very strong smelling cloud of blue smoke enveloped the restaurant at one point During the evening!!! No windows to be opened so the door needed to be left open it took a while to clear and fortunately it was a pleasant evening outside ! Over all experience ok ish may not return there is so much choice in this small town

My family and I have visited Nova several times now and each time never fails to impress the menu is constantly changed and the food is off a very high standard plus the staff are very helpful and you are made to feel very welcome would highly recommend to anyone who hasn't visited Nova you won't be disappointed

This was our first visit for some time. Still offers brilliant food, and relaxed but professional service at sensible prices. We will be back soon.

The food was excellent and service good. Heswall has become a village of restaurants but this is consistently the best. The menu often features an unusual dish which will reward the adventurous diner.

Fantastic food, best in Heswall by far, fabulous hosts too, lively warm welcome every time. Booked to go for Christmas, can't wait to be spoilt by Moyo's fab food

Meal was beautiful from start to finish. Second time trying the new menu and could not fault any element of the meal and service was equally good. The macaroons at the end of the meal were fabulous and what a perfect end to the meal. We are all looking to go back already!!

We went on Tuesday which has the early doors menu running all evening. We had an excellent meal, beautifully presented. The service was very good. A very pleasant bottle of wine for around £16.

Lovely food, with good service and, with the early-evening discounted menu, very good value. We will definitely be eating there again soon. Very highly recommended.

We enjoyed a fabulous meal at Nova. There were 2 coeliacs as part of our party and they were made to feel fully inclusive, they were served 'the most delicious bread' (their words) - a rarity on a gluten free diet! We can't rate it highly enough. We will absolutely return to this little gem!

New menu at Nova and excited to start working our way through the menu. The food yet again was amazing, from the fish cake starters to the sea bass and beef through to the delicious desserts.

Amazing as usual. Food perfectly cooked. Service was good and attentive. Weather was warm when we visited and no air con but can't complain too much about that.

Overall a very pleasant dining experience. Attentive service. The option of a sauce with the fish would have been welcome. Extensive wine list and the wine we choose was excellent. We will return

The best meal we have had in a long time and certainly the best we have had in merseyside. Service was friendly and efficient and the food was incredible value for the standard and attention to detail. Excellent!

Excellent evening out with good friends, made all the better by the quality of the food and service. With delightful surprises at both ends of the meal, clever vegetarian haggis amuse-bouche to start and individual chocolate or cranberry delights to finish, the attention to detail throughout the evening was exemplary. All the mains, 2 enormous and reportedly full of flavour t-bone steaks, 1 sea bream, and one lamb were perfectly cooked and presented. Good friends, good food means a stress free and most enjoyable evening.

Brilliant food, the best restaurant in Heswall and the service could not be faulted. We took our parents there for the first time and they both loved it.

We had the early dinner menu on a Friday night for my mum's birthday, got there at 6.30pm, left a few hours later, not rushed at all. Fabulous food, wonderful service and such good value. Will definitely be back.

Simply put, the best restaurant on the wirral. 5 star food and service. We were catered for as a party of 10 and Nova created the most wonderful of evenings.

We visited Nova for lunch on Saturday. Fantastic food, lovely ambience, great service at a very reasonable price. Will definitely return. Clearly a very talented chef.

The food was excellent with some unusual options, the staff were very efficient and pleasant, the tables well space with comfortable seats and the atmosphere lively and friendly. Very good all round.

Our second visit was just as good as the first with excellent food, friendly attentive service and good value for money. We will be going again.

This is the second time we have dined there. This time there were 7 people in our party and everyone enjoyed EVERY meal they had and we all ate at the same time, which is amazing because many restaurants get it so wrong and more often than not, one person ends up waiting. Not here, the staff are lovely, efficient and courteous. The food is delicious and I had the best rack of lamb ever, so succulent and tasty. I also love the little 'free' extras you get, a lovely touch. The menu looks basic but believe me don't ever be put off because what seems like a simple choice, Rack of Lamb, turns into a beautiful meal with tasty vegetables beautifully presented. Definitely recommend here, hesitant to write this review just in case we cannot get a table in future!!!! Compliments definitely go to the chef and their amazing staff.

We had a wonderful meal at Nova for a special birthday. The service was quck and helpful. The food could not be faulted, it was of a very high standard. Lovely place for a special meal out.

The food from start to finish was just lovely. All the additional little touches put this restaurant in a different class to many of the nice restaurants in Heswall. Looking forward to returning already.

Great food and really nice service made for a very relaxing evening. We weren't rushed but they were very attentive, will definitely go back. Good choice on the menu. Chocolate ganache was great!
