Choice this resturant due to its reviews & live music it was never mentioned that they started to close up after 8pm we initally were placed on a table stuck at the end of of loads of tables which was as though they'd squeezed a table in, we asked to move & again offered another unsuitable table so requested one we prefered, 3 of our choices of food weren't available, were turning walk in guests away whilst we were sat there' ,strange as that was over 10 people, werent offered deserts & were basically made to feel rushed out of the place not happy!

Good service and there was a lovely atmosphere. Being a Sunday there was live music in the form of a string quartet which was very good.

Great service, attentive throughout and allowed us to linger over our drinks at the end. Popular place last night but the food was still up to the usual standard.

Fabulous tapas - love the fish croquettes and the whitebait. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere.

Friendly staff and delicious food. It was very noisy but it was a Saturday night and every table was taken. I have been three times previously and will definitely go again.

I loved this restaurant. The ambiance was good and the waiting staff were very friendly and courteous. The meal was good - we had 5 tapas dishes that were served promptly and were of good quality. I will return.

My fiancé and I had an absolutely fantastic night at The Olive and Vine for his birthday. The food was amazing, and the service excellent. So friendly and accommodating!. I will definitely return.

Excellent serving and very good food and wine. The host and the waiter made our day, making exceptional suggestions (and a good discount) when it came the time to choose the wine. Definitely, we will be back soon.

We waited over an hour for our food, the food wasn’t as good as it usually is. It felt like our table just got forgotten about and I noticed a couple of other tables complained. The staff just didn’t seem on it. Such a shame, I usually love this place, but not sure I will be returning 🙁

Excellent food and service a little gem .Will certainly return. Food was traditional and great choice on menu. Not the swankiest place in the area but the best food,lovely relaxed atmosphere. We dined with friends and had a lovely evening.

Food was sooo good! Halloumi bites are amazing! Great playlist though, should’ve asked what it was! Would definitely go again and eat everything on the menu

Excellent service, friendly staff, authentic cuisine, relaxed ambience, busy and smart casual, lovely old premises, great for all age ranges, car park near by, nice birthday celebration venue.

The food was superb, as were the staff who looked after us. My other half is pescatarian so I was particularly impressed by the variety of excellent fish and vegetable dishes available.

Fantastic experience at the Olive & Vine. I don’t know the area and booked purely based on the reviews. I can thoroughly recommend this place. Nice surprise when the bill came too!

Delicious food (loved the vegan & veggie options!), and the staff were friendly and so helpful - we had a wonderful lunch out in the sun!

Fantastic food and lovely atmosphere. Parts of our order for both drinks and food we're forgotten until prompted again and then doubled up in the bill. Overall lovely place, would go again.

Food wasn’t up to scratch for us , it was barely warm and went stone cold quite quickly. The meats were over cooked and I’m positive the stuffed peppers were pickles variety shop bought and heated on a grill. Not what you expect for top 10 tripadvisor.

We went to the Olive and Vine on Sunday evening to celebrate my husband’s birthday, great food and friendly staff, looking forward to going back very soon.

Had a great meal and the staff were helpful and friendly as always. As we were celebrating the owner gave us a shot of tequila as we left. Love this place

Good food but expensive for the portion sizes and overall quality. Would not return as have had much better experience in similar places. Don't understand why people think its acceptable to pay this sort of money for what is fundamentally very basic food. Maybe it is because its located in Didsbury?

The food was excellent, our main came out though while we were still eating our starter. Getting a gap between starter and main is key for me as its nice to have a little breather between courses.

Several of the meze were cold. Although we sent them back, they were obviously microwaved which was disappointing. When they came back the taste wasn’t as good.

Amazing food! Lots of choice and very filling portion sizes, have to say it was delicious. First time I've been here and I will be back again!

we ordered 5 plates for 30 pounds and foods were very nice. the restaurant is in a good location and great atmosphere. we will visit again.

4 of us shared 8 mezes-this was plenty of food.Wide varied range of vegan or vegetarian options.Non alcoholic drinks were reasonably priced.Staff friendly and helpful

Warm and friendly service. Good food and very generous portion sizes. A good selection on the menu. I feel sure me and my fellow diners will return.

This is the second time I have been here and service is excellent and food delicious. We came for my niece's birthday and last time was a bigger party as my daughter was leaving to live in Oz, both trips service was great

Olive & Vine never disappoint. The food is delicious & the service is always spot on. It's hands down one of my very favourite restaurants.

Simply brilliant! The staff were wonderful with myself, my partner, our two mums and our three year old daughter - couldn't do enough for us! The food was delicious, we had a mixture of tapas, kebabs and meze - it was all of a very high quality and generous portions! The place itself was authentic and relaxed and the prices were very reasonable. All in all we had pretty much a perfect Mother's Day - I would highly recommend Olive & Vine and we will definitely be going back!
