Excellent food, Lovely relaxed ambience and great service. We had a 5 and 9 year old with us and the staff were great with the kids too

Food was delicious, we enjoyed sharing the meze - a good selection to suit both adults and kids. The service was excellent. We look forward to our next visit.

Lovely place! Food is really tasty and a good selection. Also really good value for money if there are a few of you sharing. The staff were fab, very helpful and friendly. We had two children in the party and they were occupied with colouring. We will be back soon!!

Nice food, good value and pleasant staff. Decor looks a little old fashioned but is deliberately Mediterranean in style. Restaurant was busy and so had good atmosphere but it does get very loud as there are no soft furnishings to absorb the sound.

The food was lovely, and good wine too. Most important was the ambience. The staff are friendly, helpful and genuine. Live music, that is not so loud as to prevent conversation, adds to the atmosphere. We will definitely go again with friends.

Great food and lovely staff definitely be eating here again. Value for money had the 5 tapas dishes and the olive and vine chicken was gorgeous!

Fantastic food, full of flavour - loads of choice - tapas & meze, kebab, party menu!! Great veggie & gluten free options. Atmosphere authentic - clean and comfortable. Service prompt and polite again with authenticity.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful particularly as my wife was in a wheel chair. This was not our first visit so we knew what to expect good Greek food. My granddaughters are both veggie and were easily catered for. What more can I say we will return!

Really lovely food,excellent service, brilliant value. Too noisy is the only downside. The meze deal is worth every penny and more, we will be back!

We saw the Olive & Vine on our walk around the park near it, we saw the food which look lovely, so we booked a table. On arriving, we were greeted with a friendly staff member. The food was great, plus the service was great

One of the best places I have ever been. Amazing service and amazing food! There was 6 of us and we all would highly recommend to eat here, the wide variety of food is so good and also very resonalbly priced. Also pre book table before hand :)

Amazing as usual. Friendly staff, sublime food and nice atmosphere. The halloumi, feta, stuffed peppers and aranchini balls are all recommended starters as are the meatballs and the stifado for mains.

The restaurant was busy, but it was a warm Summer's evening! We were attended to very efficiently on arrival and enjoyed great food, service and atmosphere, definitely visit again!

Great place for tapas and drinks. We had several and they were all very well prepared; all were a delight to the eyes as well as the palate! The service was attentive and correct. Together the staff and food, aided by some good wine, made for a good evening!

Excellent food and service. I would certainly come here again. The price is a little high but the quality of the food justifies it. The boss and waiting staff are very friendly and we even got a free shot of amaretto after the meal!

Service was great. Good value for money. However food was not as good as last time we visited a few weeks ago, so a little disappointed.

A lovely first visit, will be back again soon. A lovely calm ambience with extremely attentive staff. Food was very nice too! Would be nice if there was better outside eating area but not a problem in this climate.

We have been to the Olive and Vine several times and throughly enjoyed it but our recent visit was bad from start to finish. I booked a table for six two weeks prior it was a special occasion - daughters graduation. There were two groups on the table a group of four and a group of two. Each group would be using there own taste card as I know there is a max of four per card. Two hours before our booked time of 7.30pm I received a call from the manager telling me as we were all booked together we cannot use the tastecard. I explained that we had two cards and he said we still can't. I then said to cancel the booking and to re book two tables one for four and one for two at this point he let out a big sigh and repeated what I had just said. When I acknowledged this he put the phone down on me. Obviously I was upset we were really looking forward to this night and in one call he ruined it. It was too late to find somewhere else so had no choice but to go. When we got there this same manager greeted us and said it was ok to all sit on the same table but two had to pay full price, I said no I wanted two tables as the the couple were paying separately and so entitled to use there card. He gave in and said ok. They were busy but others that came in after us were served first and when out meal arrived after a long wait it was dried out. My chicken skewers were inedible as were other family members chicken. Other food items were also over cooked and inedible. We diced not to bother complaining it would have ruined the night even more. We will not be returning again and we will make sure non of our friends do either.

Prompt service and good sized portions. A well organised layout with a convivial atmosphere. The food was closer to Spanish tapas than I was a expecting , as I thought it would have a Greek influence but very palatable nevertheless

So friendly, it was so nice 2 walk into such a pleasant friendly helpful atmosphere.. We were shown how 2 choose what we wanted and enjoyed every mouthful, food was absolutely delicious Thank you x

Really enjoyable lunch with excellent friendly service. 6 of us ate there and there were no complaints!!! Really good choice of both starters and mains with ice cream for pud- what more could you ask for!

First time dining at this restaurant following reading some good reviews. Was not disappointed. Lovely setting. Very polite and attentive waiters without being too pushy. Good selection on menu with nice additional specials menu to choose from. Within my party we choice baked sea bass, lobster linguine and chicken/lamb kebab. Well presented and delicious. Could not fault the food or the restaurant. The added plus is that for a didsbury restaurant the price was not too bad at all. Would definitely recommend and will be revisiting in the near future.

The food was average at best. The meat was fairly chewy and tough but the restaurant had a nice ambient. Would I go again? Probably not as there are probably better value restaurant out there.

Great food and music not too loud. Would have preferred to be in front dining area which has better atmosphere and is more attractive than the back room.

The food at Olive & Vine was fantastic. We ordered a selection of 8 meze dishes for £40, which was plenty for two people, and they were all delicious. Live music being played made for a very nice atmosphere. I haven't rated 6/6 because our order was lost by their ordering system or the kitchen, meaning we waited ~50 minutes for our food while other tables who arrived later than we did ate before us. These things happen though - our waiter was very apologetic and knocked some money off the bill for us. Overall, the delay wouldn't stop be going back to a friendly restaurant with fantastic food!

Visited 18/9/2015 we received an excellent service and a great choice of tapas. We will definitely be visiting the Olive & Vine again in the near future.
