We and our friends have been here several times. The four of us all ordered something different and every part of the service and meal was excellent.,,,again!!

3rd visit for me, 2nd for my husband and 1st for his brother and sister in law who had wanted to go for a while now and they were not disappointed which made the four of us, food is delicious and you get what you pay for, we will be returning as another brother and sister in law were unable to come with us so looking forward to returning soon ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic food, lovely atmosphere, only a small criticism was the space we had for our table, it was very cramped but in all fairness the restaurant is very small and intimate, won’t stop us going again, highly recommended.

We visit this place every time we come to the area, it has never let us down it is an excellent restaurant and I recommend to all they must visit!

Excellent tasting food only marred by forgetting the fish cakes off the main course - arrived half way through eating it!

Drove to Ruthin from Frodsham after a friend recommended On the Hill - so glad we did! Absolutely stunning food, pleasant, attentive staff, beautiful old surroundings, and very reasonable prices. Very highly recommended!

As usual the food was excellent, the staff were great and atmosphere perfect.

A great find! The staff were very friendly, especially Andrew, wh made us feel very welcomed. The good was great and the fact 5hat it was filled with local folk wh were keen to share how good it was, spoke volumes. Top tip: book up to avoid disappointment
