Amazing food and great service. Would highly recommend and will be returning.

Brilliant meal. One steak was slightly under for personal taste/expectation and that was whisked away to be sorted. Overall another great meal here - we drive 30 mins and rarely go anywhere else for steak.

Took my son for midweek treat. Steak always amazing here! I'm disappointed if I go anywhere else! Great service too!

Birthday treat for 4 of us. Food amazing as always. Even my daughter enjoyed her steak and she's not a big meat eater. Great service!

Steak was cooked perfectly. Only negative was the size of the table which seemed squeezed in and was very tight for people to pass by.

The best beef we both said we have had in a long time. Staff were all very friendly, the food came out quickly. The other thing I would comment on was the music was a bit loud for a Sunday afternoon, trying to have a conversation over lunch. Would absolutely recommend stopping by for anyone.

This place has the best Sunday roast beef I've ever had

large table next to us and we felt squidged into the corner. They had children who screeched and ran round the table and at one point the noise was that loud, we couldn't even hear each other talk. Not the restaurants fault, i would have asked to move had i seen there were other tables available, but they were extremely busy. The pub itself is lovely, but we had left 2 kids at home with nanna so we could enjoy a nice relaxing meal out, and it wasn't that at all. It did start to go quieter a bit later, if we came again, we would book later say 7.30pm/8pm. Not 7pm.

My mistake, very limited menu,unless you want steak, which my other half tells me was lovely. I had chicken, menu price = £6, with mashed potatoes [only option offered]. The potatoes cost £20! I think that this was extravagant. Asked for elderflower cordial and got given a can with lemonade. Lots of flies in the room and yes it was hot but no effort to keep them off food. If you are a lover of steak maybe the place for you.

I visited on date night, Chateaubriand for two etc - sadly my wife was 250 miles away at home I felt the options for one were limited.

What a find, great country pub, super friendly staff and fabulous steaks at giveaway prices.
