Amazing food as alway no complaints at all and good value for money

As always, brilliant service and outstanding food. Small issue with our order, but it was rectified very quickly - and food was delicious.

Sunday lunch just the best around music a bit loud by our table

The food was amazing and cannot fault however the service was very slow. It took a while to get the menu and take our orders and when asking for the dessert menu this never arrived. We were then asked to remove half of the table only an hour into our booking as the next table were here. A shame as the food really was faultless

First time dining at Ounce at Bishampton & it didn’t disappoint. Steak was cooked to perfection & wonderful taste. We had the peppercorn & brandy sauce to share and it was delicious. Garlic mushrooms on the side were just amazing. Would definitely recommend this place.

Visited a few times and we really love it there. We just need to remember to order the steak “butterflied” so it’s thinner and less bloody ! But otherwise a nice place

I always like eating at this restaurant, it is pleasant, well decorated with a warm feeling. Great food, especially the butcher's cut meals on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The best roast beef 🥩 around. Tender and tasty beef with wonderful gravy and delicious vegetable.

Top meal again. Great service, amazing quality. Green beans slightly under done but I’m being picky really.

Wedding anniversary, prosecco organised on arrival. 2 x steaks at pound an ounce , one medium excellent, 1 medium well , a bit too well. Wife had cheese board , very accommodating as she only likes blue. I ordered baileys creme brullee but was vanilla but was excellent. Bottle of shiraz and coffee liqueur to finish . Shortbread with my brulee was rock hard, overall a good meal and will go back again.

We had a lovely meal. Didn’t want to leave! Very friendly staff invited us to sit at the table in the bar so they could free up the table. Food was plentiful and delicious.

It was at best OK, not a great start as placed on a table next to other guests who were allowing their 2 children to have the volume turned right up on their iPads and the restaurant was cold. The starters - king prawns x 3 on toast and mushrooms on toast x 1. We’re not good, the toast was really dry, appearance was unappetising and the prawns were flavourless. The main course then took a further 46 minutes to arrive, the steaks were very good, but cold as plates had not been warmed. The evening was a treat from us as a wedding present to friends, with a bill of just less than £300 it was meant to feel decadent and enjoyable, it was not. The experience was at best poor, and frankly embarrassing. We will not be visiting again.

Felt so rushed was rushed to order food, rushed to eat food and rushed to pay, the steak was VERY fatty and just not very nice

Brought friends to celebrate a 50th and you did not disappoint, the food (beef) was beyond fantastic! the house wine delicious and chef kindly sent out a complimentary cheese plate to hold the candle I brought for the birthday boy, which was a lovely gesture, Thank you

The decor is very relaxing and appealing, the pub is warm and welcoming. Staff were very courteous and attentive and the food was very good. All round a great experience.
