service was poor but food was good but as muchness really

steaks are always cooked as we like them, nice atmosphere

Always take visitors to Ounce as such good steak and good wine

Took a friend for lunch who was visiting from France, he was really impressed with his steak and the value of it. So lucky to have Ounce here

I booked for 2 friends who had never been to Ounce, to go for my birthday, they loved it and have suggested we go again. Steak was cooked to perfection as always and we enjoyed the glass of red we had.

went for early meal this time, very quiet, food delivered very quickly and cooked exactly as ordered. never fails to impress

Great meal, tried the cauliflower cheese which was nice. The steak was cooked perfectly and the chips were perfect. Paired perfectly with a nice red wine!!

Great service from friendly staff, lovely food as always cooked perfect.

Staff work so hard here! Such a shame there was a power outage in the kitchen which meant we didn’t get our food for an hour, during their busiest of nights. That said the steak was, as ever, fabulous, and enjoyed by the four of us.

Great food, great service, great value for money once again! Service with a smile , will be back again soon!

The steak was wonderful tonight, still missing Jute though, all the beers on offer are average. Really great and attentive service today. Quick to get seated and food was at the table swiftly.

steaks brilliant as usual, side of gbbm and butchers jus also good. still no chocolate dessert which is the only let down as none of the other desserts really appealed, but thats a minor issue when we only really choose ounce for its great steaks

Hate to write a less than perfect review but ordered cauliflower cheese with my meal and it was really watery! Not nice. Hopefully it doesn’t happen again

first time I have not left an outstanding review, food was very salty especially the chips. mushrooms served luke warm , didn't actually eat them all as got cold really quickly Butchers Jus again lukewarm. service was excellent, we will return in May, hopefully be better

Great as always but the server took our order but didn’t write it down hence forgetting our bread as starter! Came out shortly after the main and deducted from the bill but was looking forward to a starter as the food comes so quickly it didn’t feel like a relaxed lunch

Very friendly staff , but we were left waiting a little longer than was ideal to order our food , no one asked if we wanted more drinks , we asked for mayo when our food arrived, then had to ask again as it didn’t arrive , saying all that Ounce is my favourite restaurant in Worcester and I will always make allowances .

Great service, great food , lovely atmosphere, highly recommend a visit

Food, drinks and service were superb. Only 1 mark off due to having a slightly cramped table at the bottom of a busy staircase which I understand due to the place being so busy. Already booked to go again and can't wait, just hoping to get a bit luckier with seating next time

Fantastic service friendly staff, nothing was to much trouble, steak cooked just how I asked for it.

Lovely meal and attentive service. Paying for the option of a salad which previously came with the meal seems a bit tight though.

Great staff. Really good service. Only one small thing - my son had a 22 ounce steak and asked for it to be medium. Because the steak was so thick it was more rare. We didn’t say anything. Apart from that food was delicious.

10/10. We keep on coming back to the ounce bar

This is the first time that I’ve dropped marks for my favourite restaurant. I brought my parents for their 1st Ounce visit. Food was incredible and the best I’ve ever tasted. Sauces were again perfect. Many sides that included mushrooms and seasonal asparagus. Yes! Perfect food. Unfortunately, we were severely let down by service as clearly our usual floor manager was not working. Greeted at first and told that our table is still in use, wait by the bar and get a drink we were told. With my parents and wife present, we stood there for 10 min and appeared invisible. Half of the bar was covered in used glasses and there were 4 staff scrambling around to get drinks for tables in waiting and appeared carnage and no order. A big let down for Ounce but redeemed by phenomenal food. I’ll still return in hope that the manager reads this review and makes changes.
