Great Sunday lunch. Good value for money. Service as always polite, cheerful and attentive.

Highs and lows . Really good attentive service to start with but after mains were served we waited quite a while for plates to be cleared and desserts to be ordered

Went for a meal to celebrate a birthday and the service and food were excellent. I don’t usually have sides but the Mac and cheese was superb. The steaks were perfectly cooked. I’d like to try some of the other sauces but the butchers just is too good.

Great food, lovely decor. However, it was a very warm day and despite the back door being open, the windows are all sealed closed and it was very warm and humid . It maybe that air con or fans will be needed at some point. I had to use the menu to fan myself for the duration of the visit. If the front door was propped open then a through draught would help. The staff didn’t offer anything but I didn’t raise it either. We waited for a long time for the table to be cleared and had to draw attention to get the bill. Other than that it was great food and great value for the £1 per ounce deal, which made it special for us but also affordable, which is wonderful.

For the first time ever I had to send my steak back as it was as tuff as old boots , having said that I eat here an awful lot and have done for a long time and this had never happened before !!!! I was not made to feel uncomfortable at all by asking for a replacement and was treated very professionally , our server was polite and helpful, my fresh steak arrived promptly, but I did have to ask for cutlery, overall it was yet again a very pleasant experience and I still highly recommend this place.

Unfortunately was told there was no available space to eat, we left the restaurant went online to book and found an available table as we checked prior to our journey with plenty of available times, came back to the restaurant and they told us someone had just left (which was not the case as we was stood outside the restaurant) we then was seated and ate; the food was gorgeous and could not fault. However to the rude bar man informing us there was no available tables it made our experience not the nicest on my birthday. Food amazing- compliments to the chef, staff - awful

Amazing Steaks! Well deserved reputation. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. Has the Dexter Sirloin, cooked medium rare to perfection. Very generous accompanying salad and fries, no need or room for any extras. Only disappointing thing was no one came to check if everything was okay or if we needed more drinks (which we did) until we’d all finished. Also, the Guinness wasn’t very nice…..

Had a great meal at Ounce Worcester! We all had the butcher’s cut steaks from the £1 an ounce menu which were cooked to perfection. I would recommend the butcher’s jus sauce which was delicious. The service was friendly and efficient, and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. Overall, we had a nice experience and we’ll definitely be back!

We had a table of 14 people. For 1pm 6 people ordered burgers. For us to be told there was 2 burgers left. At 1pm and to run out of burgers seemed a little strange. We were there 2nd booking of the day I think we were told. Then our meals were coming out 4 of us ordered the big share £39pp and the £85 ones and this wasn’t big enough for 1 person let alone 4. I’ve been here a couple of times before. We also had steaks for the last to say 10oz then changing it every time she came out sorry it’s the 8 oz ones we put wrong order through?? Tbh yesterday’s food wasn’t any near as good as before. And the quantity for the money wasn’t worth. Our bill came to £589.60 we rounded the bill to. £600 as a thank you. But afterwards our guests who joined us were pretty disappointed with the amount served and as having 3 children who had adult meals we ended up going to get something extra to eat as they were still hungry and a couple of us were still hungry. I go actually like this place but I’m seriously considering not going back. As it was for 2birthdays I felt a little embarrassed by our service.

Had the best roast dinner, however, it took someone 45 mins to clear out plates. When they did, they didn’t offer pudding or drinks, both of which we wanted. We thought after that terrible customer service we shall go elsewhere and give someone else our approx further £40.00. I appreciate it’s a Sunday but when you’re sat at the bar and no one is making eye contact with you, it’s hard to miss a table of 3. Especially when the people behind got served after and they were attended to alot quicker and given puddings. It’s a shame as it was a celebration and this let you down!

The food always delivers at ounce, especially chateaubriand. Unfortunately there was an incredibly loud group and the back area is a little echoey but that’s no fault of the staff!
