Good atmosphere and excellent food. Unfortunately the restaurant was a bit understaffed or just not as organised as it should be. The waiting time for the drinks , starters, mains was took so long. Other than that it was a good experience.

food was very average and it was really noisy! Wouldn't go again.

The food was mediocre and really over priced for the portion size. Had to ask 4 times to get some tap water and paid £20 for 5 pieces of pasta.

We had a lovely Saturday afternoon lunch with 8 people. They gave us a table in a separate area so we had lots of space, good service, and of course the food was great too. Nice and relaxed!

Paesan is an excellent restaurant, good atmosphere and even better food. We went for a birthday celebration and they did everything right and even sung happy birthday!

Lovely restaurant, lovely staff. Had a great time. Can recommend the butternut squash carpaccio. Though perhaps not the pistachio icecream served with Amaro montenegro. That was a bit odd :)

As always, super food and great staff. The menu had changed since the last time I was there but still very good. If you are looking for authentic Italian food with decent wine and great service, Paesan fits the bill.

I've wanted to come here for years as I'd heard great things about it. Food had a good standard with some outstanding (beetroot salad w/ goats cheese) and the staff was friendly and helpful. A negative was the atmosphere, it was quite empty in a big place as we went really early (pre-6pm). Would go again.

The food here is always great. The portions do seem to be getting smaller though! The service is friendly but can be a little slow.

Great, attentive service. But unfortunately the food was very average. the arancini was stodgy and the pasta dishes was undercooked. The meatballs were dense and dry.

We had a very relaxed Sunday lunch for a party of eight. Friendly service, the food was simply presented but distinctive and good value for the quality. Would definitely go back.

Nice atmosphere but the portion size seemed to be smaller then previous occasions. We were sat in the draft of the door even though we were one of the first tables to be seated and had reserved weeks in advance.

Fantastic low key authentic seasonal Italian food, in a buzzy neighbourhood setting. Great value for money. The perfect comfort food Saturday treat. We love it here. The Resturant isn't huge so always best to book ahead for weekends.

Great meal from a really interesting - I guess very authentic - menu, nicely introduced for us. It's a great location too, and isn't fazed by competition on Exmouth Market. I highly recommend it for a lunch or dinner that stimulates the senses.

The best peach Bellini and Tiramisu I've had to date! The staff are constantly roaming and are always at your beck and call. The food is incredible and the menu changes seasonally. Will be going back again soon

Excellent food, felt as if I was in Italy and very friendly, efficient service. A little bit of Italy in the middle of London. And nice that there are outside tables too.

Food was really good and the atmosphere was great too, although a little bit too noisy. Service was prompt and pleasant. We shared antipasti and small plates and each plate was creative and tasty.

As always, great straight forward regional Italian food. Friendly and enthusiastic staff. And happy hour cocktails. Good for vegetarians too. We will be back again soon.

Service was really slow and I feel they were understaffed at the restaurant. Perhaps even just one other waiter would have improved the service massively.

Very good food, the Calabrian month was perfect, as I'm in love with N'duja. Staff was friendly, all dishes well received and in good time. One minus point for having to pay a deposit of £50 when I booked a table for 12 people. But then again, that's probably fair enough.

Good wholesome food, service was good and the staff were very nice. Portions were good and we were both left feeling full after dessert !

Cosy place in Exmouth Market - perfect for a rainy day. The arancini were rather disappointing and lacking in flavour but the rabbit parpadelle and meatballs were great!
