Great food and great service. Will be going back again

Delicious food, cracking environment and amazing value for money! (Especially the focaccia and arancini.... and meatballs with polenta.... and the coffee... and the choice of meats...)

Delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere with the best service we have had in years. Everything we ate was fresh and full of flavour. Highlights included a delicately creamy burrata, smokey char-grilled artichokes and light crispy arrancini. The side order of fries was a plate of moreish carb scrumptious ness. What made our dining experience even more memorable was the service from our waitress, who was polite, courteous, attentive and efficient without ever being intrusive or making us feel we were being rushed. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent service and wide variety of rich, hearty Italian cuisine. The pasta dishes are very filling and the desserts are superb. I Would highly recommend.

Excellent as always. Really good service and great food. The decor is also great and gives a rustic feeling. The only negative I would say is that it's a bit loud, but that's only because we were dining at a very busy lunch time.

Fantastic food - pappardelle with beef ragu was sublime! Proper Italian gelato for dessert - loved the pistachio flavour! Great atmosphere and staff really friendly. Will definitely go back!

Really great atmosphere, friendly staff, well priced and delicious small plates and a good selection of wines by the bottle or carafe - i would recommend for a romantic meal or a dinner with friends.

A great value menu is strong on wholesome and hearty dishes that are a bit different from your standard Italian restaurant fare. Perfectly cooked handmade tagliatelle with wild mushrooms. Great mussels, and fantastic fries with gorgonzola and truffle oil. Staff all very friendly and helpful. And Bitters and Rye downstairs turns out to be one of the best cocktail bars around.

Very nice atmosphere and great food! We had the pasta specials as well as arrancini, Parma ham and burrata tonight - all very tasty. Also, the staff is super friendly and they have a cool cocktail bar downstairs if you fancy some more drinks after your dinner. Third time there for me and definitely not the last!

Very good food, service improved over time, but still things they can work on. Not receiving menus within first 10 minutes of arrival seemed a rather basic thing to forget.

Great meal. Went with 5 friends and the service was really friendly, the waiter helped us out by suggesting a load of tapas style starters and talked us through the menu. The food was excellent. I will definitely return.

Really nice staff and food! Special attention to appetizers. We choose also 2 bottles of red wine, both good ration between prize and quality. Nice pleace

Food was EXCELLENT and at a great price, ambiance was great. Had a fantastic Valentine's Day. Only issue was our drinks came just after our main course.. but they were all made free. Very great experience; can't wait to visit again.

The menu doesn't have too many options, which is always a good indication. Indeed, you can tell the food is fresh from the day, it's simple but really good and tasty. And the whole thing in a pleasant atmosphere/decor. Oh and did I mention how incredibly cheap it was ? Staff is and service is excellent, quick, efficient yet relaxed and smiley. Will definitely come back for more

Are you looking for quality or quantity? Paesan does them both extremely well. Highly recommend the burrata with aubergine caponata. Polite and fun waiting staff. A truly rustic Italian experience.

Simply lovely food good value and lovely staff. Always feel really welcome and they are so accommodating although not a real regular. Go for the Vongole or meatballs as they are our faves. but I'm sure every dish is of the highest quaulity.

Great food, good atmosphere and vibe, service could have been quicker / more attentive. Food I had - parmiggiana starter, risotto main. Very tasty, free bread was a nice touch. The serving staff were very polite, but we did feel the length of time between being seated and having our drinks and food orders taken was rather long, especially considering the restaurant was not too busy at that point. We attended here for lunch at 12:30 on Friday 12th December 2014.
