Good food - good service for a busy Saturday night - they were attentive and polite with all all of our asks - pricey so be prepared for that bill - overall great evening

We went for a family (and other halves) meal to celebrate both my kid's birthdays and the fact that my son would be out of the country for 3 months - including Christmas. It was a great choice - by my daughter. Friendly, helpful staff, and excellent food.

The special offer menu seemed a bit confusing Staff we're good but at 6pm they seemed to much in a rush of taking our dishes away

excellent authentic food, very nice and forthcoming service, actually unstamdingly good. i wish the restaurant would have more guests cause the three times we've been there we've always been thrilled. we keep coming back whenever we feel like having a good, honest and authentic thai meal.

The food was excellent, and good choice, but the atmosphere was poor as we were unfortunately the only table in the restaurant. Service was good.

Thai food doesn't get much better than this. The dishes are delicious and beautifully presented, while the service is helpful and efficient. It was rather empty, but that's probably because this branch opened just recently. Well worth a visit!

Extremely helpful staff and fantastic food. The staff really went out of their way to ensure that we had a fantastic meal. We enjoyed our meal in a stylish and clean environment.

Great food, the best thai green curry ive had in a while, service was slow and there werent any cocktails/mocktails served as bar tender was off sick.

Food was AMAZING but unfortunately our experience was tarnished by the extremely slow service, which we couldn't comprehend as there were only a few people in the restaurant when we arrived. I will definitely give this restaurant another chance as the food and presentation were magnificent.

The food is excellent, the staff were very kind and gracious. The only thing was that we went at a very quiet time for lunch, and I think because of this service was a bit slow. However, we had a very enjoyable time and would definitely go back!

Very attentive service. Food overall was good although some dishes were only just warm, need to utilise hot plate or similar gadgets. Drinks were expensive.

My girls and I had such a good time, I found this place on Trip advisor as we needed somewhere close to the theatre to have a pre-theatre meal and I booked on the day for three of us. As we were in a little bit of a rush we had the set menu which was incredible value for money, the rice was so delicious with sprinklings of saffron and I had the sea bass which was just perfect. I could start talking about the dessert but I fear the keyboard on which I type would die with the level of salvation alone. All awesome and we plan to go back very soon. Oh and the staff were awesome and couldn’t do enough to help us. We explained we had to be in and out quickly due to the show and they made that happen without it feeling rushed. Love it – double thumbs up! Oh and it looks better than the pictures online!

Excellent! Booked at very short notice, and was accommodated with no trouble. Service was extremely attentive, and most importantly the menu was full of great choices, and the food was very tasty, especially the curried seabass chargrilled banana leaves which was exquisite. Very nice decor and pleasantly quiet atmosphere - my only minor criticism was that the background music was a bit naff. Very enjoyable evening though!

Patara's ambiance is relaxing, inviting and elegantly styled. The food is more refined and higher quality than my experience of other Thai restaurants. I would highly recommend Patara.

Great food and attentive servers. They catered very well for the needs of vegan, gluten free and nut free (set menu). Very polite also. Always willing to assist. The first time I tried vegan food and it was delicious! Great accompaniments. Noodles were great. Lovely sorbet to end.

Delicious food and the service was warm polite and very efficient, would defo return for a lunch or dinner meal with my partner or friends.

Worst experience EVER! Waited 90 minutes for main course and today the service was extremely slow. A table nearby couldn't afford to wait any more just left, which I can totally understand.

Food was great but definitely on the expensive side. The service was hit and miss and on the slow side. The lamb for main was delicious!

nice restaurant, It is a chain so the food is not the best or authentic. I did find the portions to be tiny for the lunch meals, so beware. What put me off was 1 our waiter did not have much knowledge on the menu and our food was served by one waiter who had this really BAD body odour, and was terrible when he was putting our food down on the table, getting drinks, we got the smell so bad. - bit worrying how your food would be cooked. Also when we finished our meal we spent ages waiting for someone's attention and paying for our food. All the waitresses were nice and friendly but not sure about waiters.

Very nice place, tasty food, service could be a bit warmer - I found some waiters a bit cold at times. Lamb massaman is excellent, was my favourite!!! but so is the chicken Satay and the cashew duck.

This was my first visit. Excellent food in a very stylish restaurant, excellent service from friendly staff. Looking forward to my next visit in the near future.

Fatty beef, unseasoned deep fried fish, not up to usual Patara standard, which has been our favourite Thai restaurant in London for years. Service was a spotty too - part intrusive part hands off. Teething pains hopefully.

The food was really good, especially the black cod and the chicken satay. It was quite expensive but overall was worth it as the food and services was very good. Would go back to but probably to the one on Maddox Street and prefer the decor there.

The restaurant itself is lovely and decorated to a very high standard. The service needs significant improvement, our server was frankly a bit odd to the point of being a bit rude. Staff were obviously instructed to up-sell but this was done in a very blatant way which detracted from our enjoyment. Our starters were very nice but the mains were nothing special and very overpriced for what we received. My main course was described as having aubergine, which was one of the key reasons I picked it, when in fact this was 'pea aubergine' which was misleading. Overall I would not recommend and would not return.

We went there for my boyfriends Birthday and they have amazing service and food. The restaurant has a great ambience.

Service was a bit too "in your face" and we had real trouble paying for which they did not apologiser. Totally different experience to the first time we went there back in Feb 2016. Shame. But in Feb, we went for dinner and last week, we went for lunch - maybe that's something to do with it?
