The service was good and attentive, however they did not seem to be aware of offer with Quandoo. Food quality was good and ambience was excellent.
Never been to any of their restaurants before but really glad that we did. Good food, good ambiance, excellent service - location is a bit tricky though.
Food decent, presentation excellent and service good, if a little over attentive. Whilst food was decent, for prices would have expected a little more flavour
Excelent service, well favoured and interesting food, very well presented. The tasting menu was well sized and a goid selection of dishes. The only issue is the tables for two are too small for the number of dishes that are in the tasting menu.
Really nice food, good service, lovely ambiance. The champagne offer on quandoo was extremely good value. However, I find this restaurant to be a bit over-priced (even if the food is good). Portions were rather small, even the expensive portion of rice, and not every dish was a hit.
Great food and drinks, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. We went on a Tuesday and was a quiet night with only 4 other tables busy still the place and decor felt warm. The food is incredible especially the prawn pad Thai and the salads. Good for special occasions/ romantic dinner
Great food! Servers were wonderful. The staff did a perfect job recommending the perfect amount of food for the two of us. Th timing was wonderful.
I absolutely loved this restaurant, the food was really delicious - excellent quality and flavours and also really great portion sizes (bigger than I had expected!). Literally everything we ordered was so tasty and I will definitely be going back in the future.
Amazing service yet again! We enjoyed a delicious lunch from the main menu although the lunch menu looked very good value. We had a Patara Platter to start then had a variety of king prawn pad thai, seabass, scallops...but the nicest was the penang beef cheeks but overall everything was lovely! Highly recommend.
The waiters were too fussy. I want to have a deep and meaningful conversation with my partner, not fend off constant requests from the waiter. And leave my drink alone until I'm done with it - four times the guy tried to move it.
Beautiful setting. Lively atmosphere. Wonderful staff. Authentic flavours. Basement floor looked a little quiet and may lack atmosphere if not filled or at least half-filled.
Good food, good decor. Gave us the drinks menu with some explanation about getting the food one after which was a bit odd. Thought they might be trying to get some cocktails out of us or something. Rest of service was ok though. Some of the dishes were excellent, all were good.
Amazing service by all the team there, very decent food both starters and mains, big portions. We had to take home one of our main courses.
Had dinner with a friend, we found the service very attentive. We were offered recommendations from the menu, which we took, and the food was all delicious. Beautiful decor in the restaurant and great location. It is expensive, but you are getting the food and service you'd expect for the price.
Excellent food and fab staff, would def recommend for great Thai food!
We had a lovely evening at Patara - a party of 9 people - food and service were both spot on. They gave us a great area at the rear of the restaurant with a large square table which worked very well. Refreshingly nice! Thank you.
food was great. service was attentive. however, we were asked 4 times (thats too excessive) during the meal whether things were ok. we wanted to be left alone for a bit to enjoy our meal,
we went there in the evening and we found a friendly & relaxing athmosphere, a good Service, the food was good but slightly below expectations.
Patara serves exquisite food and wine, with lovely staff and beautiful surroundings. First class. Will definitely be back and have highly recommended to my friends and family.
Delicious food. The Thai green curry was particularly tasty. Reasonable wine list. Delightful and attentive staff. Pleasing decor. Good background music. A very nice evening.
Beautiful restaurant near Oxford Street, nice waiter, great green curry !! Quit cheap for the quality of food, but size smaller than in the South Kensington branch.
Lovely restaurant - nice decor. Great cocktails, and the food was excellent. Black cod with ginger was particularly nice. Also liked the beef in coconut milk, duck spring rolls.
Delicious thai food and very helpful, friendly staff. The seared scallops in particular proved a big hit with my partner, who also raved about the thai wine that accompanied the meal perfectly.
Food was decent but quite pricey. The service was quite good. The restaurant was pretty empty on a Friday night. Overall it was a good experience.
Excellent restaurant. Amazing Thai food in a beautiful setting, staff were impeccable and the the food was fabulous! The set menu gave you a chance to experience the best of the menu and we were not disappointed. We were celebrating getting married in Thailand 1 year ago and being in Patara was the next best thing to being in Thailand itself
No one in the resturant, service very pushy. High price for the quality of food, and some dishes were so spicy that you could not eat them.
We had an enjoyable experience from start to finish. The food was impeccable as it always is from Patara. The ambience was calm, cocktails delicious and the the service was great. I would always recommend Patara for high quality Thai fine dining.
Great food, Excellent servings. We left stuffed and had enough to pack to bring home. The service was a bit hit or miss. One snotty waiter more than made up for by great manager and other waiter.
Brilliant- very attentive service and food was excellent. Only issues was they close the kitchen at 3 pm which we were not informed of when booking for 2 pm
Good food, slow service. The food was fresh and plentiful however it seems like it is all new staff as my waiter seemed confused and slow.
Excellent service and the food was Great. The service was brilliant we were looked after constantly. The deco and ambience was really good. Definitely will be coming back.
New menu is decent with some improvements from the older menu at the other branches. But service at Berners st branch was relatively poor in comparison. Prefer the Fulham road branch still.
The food was good but as we were the only table in the restaurant for a while we felt that the waiters/waitresses smothered us and we just wanted a relaxing dinner not someone circling our table (literally)
The food was absolutely delicious and the service excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant! My friends had the pad thai and loved it! I had tofu and mushroom satay and it was fantastic!
Great service, ambiance and food. Staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was tasty and filling but slightly less flavoursome than other Patara chains.
Excellent food staff very courteous and helpful will definitely return. Restaurant very clean and welcoming nothing was to much trouble when asking for advice about the menue
Sur conseil d'un amis Londonien, nous avons essayés ce restaurant. Nous avons été enchanté, par nos plats très parfumés et tres goûteux. Le service est vraiment trés bien
Food is good but really spicy. Service was slow and our table was not ready when we arrive. Otherwise, nice settings, good choice of food.
Fabulous food, very attentive and friendly service. Certainly not a budget experience but worth every penny. We will be back. Best Thai I have tried in London.
The food was very good especially the black cod! Its expensive but the authentic thai cuisine makes it worth the price! However the service can be improved.
