we visited here on a Thursday night, it was fairly busy. The food itself was lovely, However aspects of the service let it down. I had Mussels to start with but was given no bowl or plate to put my shells on so i had to use my tiny bread plate which then meant i had no where put my bread, at no point while we eating our starters did anyone do a table check to ensure everything was ok with our food. For mains i had a dish that had mussels in and yes you've guessed it no plate or bowl given to put my shells in so i took one of a neighbouring table. We had a lovely bottle of wine and no one asked if we would like any more to drink when it was obvious we had finished the wine, we would off had another so they missed out on another £23. again no one asked if everything was ok with our main course until they came to clear the plates. We ordered desserts and the waitress asked if we would like more water to which we said yes, this never arrived, my partner ordered the cheese board but was never asked if he would like a glass of port although it is mentioned n the menu. so again more money in your till missed. Overall the food was lovely but the service just needs to be stepped up a level as i feel you are missing out on extra sales as no one was upselling or checking on meals when they are being eaten, its pointless asking after as if there is any issues they then cant be rectified

One of the waitresses was quite rude. She made our waitress look silly by coming over and asking if we wanted to try the wine, because our waitress had not asked. She should have given this feedback to her colleague away from the customers view. I could then see her complaining about it to the shift manager. Ironically it was this same waitress that forgot to then bring our dessert menues! Food was fantastic!!!

The food was great and very reasonably priced, and the service was friendly and helpful without ever getting in the way. Not the most original of menus, but a lovely meal nevertheless.

Love Petit Paris – it never changes. But my lunch companion didn't really like the soup this time, nothing wrong with it - just that, despite being 'mixed vegetable soup', it was not to her taste.

Lovely food, good service. We were on the pre theatre deal but it never felt rushed, even when my friend was late in arriving the staff were unconcerned , we were not made to feel we had to order and eat quickly. Would definitely recommend.

Ok. Not perfect. Very gritty muscles and forgot the Stilton on top of my filet. Food generally good otherwise. Reasonable prices and pretty solid service.

Wonderful food. Very reasonable bar prices and very convivial atmosphere. Packed out. Friendly, efficient and professional service. This is the third time I have visited the Petit Paris. I wish I'd booked for the other two occasions during the week I shall be attending performances of Opera North. But I gather it is closing temporarily for refurbishment.

Lovely food, friendly staff and quick service. My mum is coeliac and the staff were very accommodating. Slightly noisy when we first arrived as the area we were sat in was busy and the room was a bit echoey.

The food was delicious. The young lady waitress forgot a couple of things, ie. bread for the table and one of the drinks but once asked for she brought it straightaway and apologized so we were also very pleased with the services. Good value for money and excellent for a pre theatre meal

Usual excellent service and food. The lady who took our order coped very well with an adjacent table trying to "jump the queue". Fish was lovely (it always is, between us we had the sea bass and the hake). Only, minor, issue was the young lad (on some sort of work experience I think) being a little unsure as to which of the coffees were real and which decaffeinated. This was sorted very quickly, by a colleague, so no "biggie".

Lovely place & the staff are fantastic!! Only rated it one less because we specified certain food requirements for one diner and when it came it was not met so she couldn't ear desert but the staff were very apologetic. It wouldn't stop us going again though, we love it.

Delicious food, prompt service (pre-concert meal), and attentive helpful staff. A favourite place to eat, especially for pre-theatre/pre-concert meal. Booked again next month for supper with party of half a dozen ex-work colleagues.
