Petit Parle is an extremely popular French restaurant on Fenwick Street, in Liverpool city centre. Having arrived on the foodie scene a few short months ago, this cool spot specialises in small plates, champagne, cocktails and charcuterie, and Liverpudlians seem to love every last bit of them! Petit Parle is an intimate restaurant that has splendid specials on offer which change daily, incorporating whatever fresh produce they get from their local suppliers, so keep an eye out for great seafood such as crispy mackerel fillet with clams, horseradish mayonnaise and Chaurice sausage or game-based specials like seared pigeon breast with braised lettuce, peas, ham and a red wine reduction. Hungry yet? Whether it’s for date night, a catch up with pals or a special celebration – book a table and get to Petit Parle, ASAP!
Lovely food, excellent service. The waitress is crazy, in a good way. It's small plates, so good variety. The wine is brilliant, try the sauvignon blanc, although French, it's delicious!
Smoke stung out eyes for the entire visits. Several mistakes made, slow service. Freezing cold bottle of red wine served on freezing cold glasses. Food comes out when it’s ready, which is normally fine, but a soup and similar only really works before other dishes, rather than when it happens to be ready. Fries felt anything but French. Overpowering parsley on one set and barely a discernible bit of cheese on the others. Expected so much more.
My friend and I both had a lovely evening. The atmosphere is very French and food delicious. The service was also very good. We will be back.
