Great food, very tasty and catering for all diets and tastes. The GF chickpea flatbread and apple fritters are delicious. Service was great too. Music was a bit loud, if there would be one thing to improve, I'd have like the atmosphere to be a bit quieter.

Quite simply, I was blown away by the flavours. The food is a unique take on Asian fusion that I've not experienced before. After reading the menu, I was curious as to how some of the combinations would turn out, for example, 'Peanut Satay and Caramalised Plantain on a Flatbread' is not something I've ever really imagined, but it does — and it does so perfectly. The food is exciting, portion size is good, the ambiance of the restaurant is warm+cultured and the staff have the perfect balance of friendly and professional. Perfect for a group of friends or to impress a date. I'll definitely be going back for more, I just hope they'll be selling take-home jars of their mind-blowingly delicious pickles next time :)

The food is great and the service was lovely, with great big smiles!! I even got a free cake as it was my birthday which was a lovely treat and surprise!! Would thoroughly recommend and we will be going back!

Enjoyed a fantastic date evening with the wife, great atmosphere and grazed our way along the unusual yet satisfying menu and extensive cocktail list! The happy hour pricing was also welcomed and added great value for money. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend - will be returning very soon!

Service was very attentive and the food was excellent and interesting. It is an excellent deal if you make it for the happy hour! The pork bao was amazing and flatbreads really good!

I love this place. Cocktails are very unique and the food is incredibly delicious and it’s only couple of seconds walking distance from Bricklane! Apple and sesame fritters made a perfect happy end for our night.

I booked this restaurant based on the look of the menu and it absolutely excelled my expectations! The dishes are beautifully created and have clearly been designed by a passionate, inventive and knowledgeable chef/team. There is a great selection of food including plentiful vegan options alongside vegetarian, fish and meat, so it couldn’t be better for a group with mixed dietary requirements or preferences. The atmosphere is excellent - despite dining earlier in the evening, the ambience was still perfect and I can imagine it gets even more enjoyable as the evening goes on. The only thing better than the food were the staff - they were so friendly, attentive and just plain lovely! Our waiter really made the night for us so thank you to all at Pickled Fred, we shall see you again!

We had a great evening here, the owners made us feel really welcome in addition to such a nice atmosphere - interior done really nicely, great music and well lit, with fantastic drinks and food - inventive flavourful menu for both, with a broad variety of choice for taste & dietary preferences. Amazing jackfruit scotch eggs, tasty flatbreads and delicious, inventive cocktails. Reasonably priced too. Staff very friendly, music good, lighting nice and dim. Would highly recommend.

I came here with a friend of mine. Had a great night. What a gem. Beef shin rendang, Scotch eggs , Cauliflower was perfection. We were surprised with all the vegetarian friendly options. Amazing food with high quality cocktails accompanied with exellent service.
