Excellent food with a very varied menu, we all had different starters and everybody thought they were excellent, for main courses some chose the market menu and others the a la carte, but they were all delicious. The service was also very friendly and efficient.

The food was absolutely fantastic, perfectly cooked and portion sizes just right. Only down side was the fact they ran out of draught lager and baileys, but the amazing staff were on it and sorted the issue very quickly. If my better half and me are eating out Pipers is the only place to go.

Excellent food, and service really very good, friendly staff clearly doing whatever they could to help. Nothing too much trouble. We shall go again - this having been our fourth or fifth winter visit. The food is so consistent and the restaurant is comfortable and well-appointed. It was a real pleasure.

We go to Pipers every Christmas after visiting Barton Grange down the road. The service, food, surroundings etc are all first rate. We had the set menu which is very reasonably priced at £21 for 3 courses. I had the roast beef as a main which was delicious and cooked to perfection. Starter of fishcakes and a crumble dessert with custard were also excellent. My fellow diners were similarly impressed!

Awesome food with lots to choose from and very friendly service. Not cheap but not silly prices. The best place to eat in Garstang, by a long way!

Food really good. Staff helpful, young waitress really polite (I think it was she first shift) did really well, senior waiter didn't notice that the music had stopped and killed the atmosphere, was also slow at being attentive. I was trying to leave because we had somewhere to be, took 20/25 mins to get the bill and another 10 before I could pay.

First visit. We chose dishes from the a la carte menu - all very good. Service lacked a little finesse, but was a good pace - we were neither ignored nor rushed. Saw dishes coming out for the fixed price menu and they looked good too. Will go back.

Nice to eat at a restaurant which has a personal touch rather than a chain. Good, freshly prepared food which may mean a bit of a wait, but well worth it. Quality food and friendly service.

A nice private restaurant in Garstang High Street. The food is nicely presented. I would say that they use fresh ingredients which are freshly prepared, unlike some restaurants and restaurant chains I have visited. At the Pipers service is good and the staff make you feel welcome. I have rated it 5 and if the prices a were a little lower a 6 would be given. If they were a little lower I could go more often rather than just for an occasion, but you get what you pay for.

1. Parking on street outside restaurant, 2. Had not read special request on Quandoo booking. However, corrected it immediately. 3. Good menu choice. 4. Excellent food and wine

Food was excellent and the service was very good. Sunday lunch menu is good value for money however we ordered off the main menu. Quite a few dishes unavailable the night we went on steaks and starters however it didn't spoil the experience and there was plenty of choice

The Wednesday night deal is excellent value, as long as you're not a fussy person. There are only three choices for each course i.e. for main course - one meat, one fish and one vegetarian. having said that the food was delicious and very well presented.

The food and the presentation were excellent, would recommend the restaurant to all friends and acquaintances. The staff were welcoming and friendly, they were attentive yet not pushy, you had as long as you needed to chose from the menu and didn't rush you in between courses. Excellent night night.

Went on Wednesday for my wife's birthday. It was so good we went back the following night. We ate from the a la carte but the 2 courses for £12 , 3 for £15 on Wednesday is great value

We were made to feel very welcome. Staff were attentive without being intrusive and gave us time with the menus to make our choices. The food was served beautifully, and tasted delicious. A lovely place in which to relax, chat and dine.
