Another spot on lunch at the poachers, main meals were very tasty and great value, my dad had one of the light bites excellent quality and superb value for money.

Friendly staff and food was good as always. Quite busy but it was a Saturday night. Plenty of parking available and the prices were reasonable for both drinks and food.

Great quality and selection on the menu. Cracking value for money with excellent service. I had the sirloin steak and it was cooked to perfection with homemade chips and for under a tenner!

lovely secluded pub, took my husband out for his birthday meal after it being recommended by a few people, well we were not disappointed.. The place is easy to find plenty of parking spaces, walked in and it was so cosy and a welcoming atmosphere, the staff were lovely, intentive as if we were regular customers. The menu is incredible alot of variety to chose from, when I went to order the lady who served me was happy and cheery, told me about the specials board which I opted for, my husband had an 16oz T-bone steak, I had the chicken with creamy prawns.. And wow just wow, the steak was like butter, perfectly cooked my chicken and prawns were just amazing, the portions are generous and they offer alternatives to just having chips (which are home cooked by the way) we also had desert which again were incredible plenty to choose from. We left there feeling stuffed and we felt like we were part of a family, we will be back!! Thankyou again x

This was our first trip to the poachers we found well cooked pub grub which was very good value for money . Live music was excellent and the staff were very friendly

There were 4 of us dining and we all had something different. Everyone agreed the food was lovely. The staff were all really nice and friendly. The place itself looked amazing - the Christmas decorations were lovely. The only reason I didn't give 6 stars is because the service when ordering was really slow.

First time and was excellent. Will go back again. Staff were very helpful and food was lovely. Not to expensive but was very very tasty.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent. Large portions and piping hot. My parents whom were visiting the area enjoyed the bbq pork dish which was tender and very tasty. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to return

poor meal. steak n ale pie had 2 pieces meat. steak tough and dry, chips not very good. presentation not good. nice staff giving prompt service. Food big disappointment

If some thing is not right just let them know straight away they are very helpful there were 9 of us but my son's egg was hard they brought a fresh one with a runny yolk

Meal was really nice. Steaks cooked perfectly. Comfortable and cosy atmosphere and the staff are really friendly. An overall excellent experience. Would recommend the Poachers Cottage as a place to eat.

Food is always amazing in this pub, cannot fault it. Staff are friendly and helpful. Pub has recently been refurbished and looks good! I would advise making a booking because it can get really busy.

Lovely meal lovely waitresses very good with my granddaughters allergies plenty of choice and plenty of space between tables ,overall a really nice restaurant also nice and warm

Large menu with some strange combinations like chicken with bacon and cheese covered in mushroom sauce. Surprised how nice it was ! Chips are like fish and chip shop chips. Friendly and fast service. Decent beer ie Wainwright but not a huge choice.

The food is so delicious here and you get a good choice from the menu. The portion sizes are perfect and the prices are excellent, highly recommend.

Nice atmosphere in the Pub with friendly and obliging staff and the food was fabulous and excellent value for money. This was a return visit and we will definitely be returning again.
