Delicious food and great atmosphere although service a little slow

The food was delicious and of a very high quality. However, as a long standing Polpo fan I thought the portions were a bit mean. Their Frito Misto has always been a favourite but it was lacking the whitebait and only had a few prawns. When I’ve had this in the past it was a much larger portion which was a fair amount for the price you were paying. The staff were ok but I don’t think they were keen that we were there with 2 children. I don’t think we’ll be rushing back.

Have been to Polpo Farringdon before but not to Covent Gdn. It didn’t disappoint. The special of asparagus, soft egg and crab butter was utterly delicious.
Had a really nice visit. Good food. Good service. Good atmosphere. We'll be back!
