Genuinely the best ever Italian meal I've had, a penne dish with bacon, chillies and toms. Fantastic. My dining friend's pizza was also great. Two cleaned plates. Great service. Great choice 10/10.

A lovely meal today before going to the theatre. Garlic bread was huge! But delicious. Pizza was lovely and homemade chips absolutely delicious. Will definitely return.

Our visit was great from start to finish. The service was excellent. Food was high quality and served in a good time. Drinks were also very good. Would definitely return if visiting the area again.

We had a lovely meal at Portofino. We were greeted at the door and seated straight away . We didn’t wait long for our courses and the food was delicious. My only criticism is that my husband would have liked more vegetables with his lamb shank . But other than that every course was delicious and the staff were really good & friendly and the restaurant had a lovely Christmas . Thanks Portofino.

Gorgeous little restaurant😍 the 2 ladies that served us were lovely and so friendly! Food was incredible and not to mention the price was brilliant as well! For a 3 course meal for 2 of us and we both got a pint of pepsi it was only £52! Definitely recommend

Food was not as described on the menu. Starter was missing bread and olives. We asked and olives brought but not bread. Carbonara described as traditional with egg but was in creamy sauce. Affogato came with whipped cream and only tiny ice cream. Cream not mentioned on menu. Calzone was very overcooked and did not contain chorizo as it said on menu. Would not be going back if we lived here

Visited for lunch. Quick and friendly service. Food was prepared to order in a visible kitchen. Very pleased with quality and quantity. Overall a very pleasant experience, we will return

Pre theatre dinner- service was great, lovely staff and nice and quick. Food was super yummy. Spaghetti Carbonara was just the best

Meal was very nice & tasted wonderful . But we were upstairs & it was very cold. So our dining experience wasn’t what we’d expect. You shouldn’t eat your meal & keep your winter coat on.

A lovely evening. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The atmosphere was lovely, the restaurant was clean and the food outstanding. It was a particularly cold night and perhaps the heating could have been turned up a notch ( especially in the toilets)

Had pre booked to Visited before theatre , waited an hour for starters, far too busy, they could not cope . We waited an hour for starters and then this made us late for the theatre. Ordered sides with main and had to ask for them to be bought to the table as just left sitting on side going cold. Waiting staff tried their best but could not cope with the amount of customers. Would not visit pre theatre again .

Went for the pre-Theatre menu. Good and varied choice, and service was such that we never felt worried about being late for the show. Will definitely do this again!

Was a very busy evening due to the theatre. service of drinks were very good and taking of order. However we had to wait a considerable time for our mains. We weren’t able to look at the sweet menu. Food was very good.

Went for lunch for our Anniversary and was amazing, nothing was too much trouble and were really welcomed in there by the wonderful staff, so polite and happy and the food was out of this world seriously! Have already booked for Valentines night in advance.
