Great tasting food, good atmosphere and pleasant surroundings. Service was a little bit slow but that can be forgiven as the were full. Portions are massive!!

Had a really pleasant evening here,the staff were attentive, food was really good and the service was excellent. Will definitely will be returning very soon.

Simply wonderful experience, the food is premier league and the staff are all outstanding. Can recommend to anyone for any occasion. Impossible to be dissappointed.

Excellent food and LOADS of it. took a full meal home for friends boyfriend as so much left. friendly staff and quick service. Wine not brilliant but wasn't expecting it to be. would highly recommend.

Very nice ambiance and interior and friendly staff. This was our first time here so the main waiter gave us some great advice. Lovely food and very tasty but will order slightly milder next time.

My 3rd visit to the purple pakora poyton , food was delicious we had a selection of veggie dishes and a meat dish , food was amazing very delious and the service was exceptional as always

Food was ok service was good until we got the bill and when told we had a compere the market deal we were told we should have called to book and not booked on line also we would have to pay in cash which we did . Made to feel a little uncomfortable .

Excellent food, staff welcoming, friendly and always on hand if you need anything. Not my first time at the purple pakora and defiantly won’t be my last.

Lovely surroundings, delicious food, exemplary service. No criticisms at all. Four of us enjoyed a mixture of courses and had no room for dessert at the end.

Friendly, helpful staff and good food, with prompt service in a comfortable setting. If I were to be picky, the music was just a little too loud for my taste, but not so loud that I felt it worth mentioning to the staff.

Excellent food and service. Biryani portion would have been enough for two! Decor and atmosphere were very good - lively but not excessively exuberant clientele.

Simply the best Indian Restaurant in the area, to the extent that I drive 15 miles to get there. Food always excellent and staff very courteous and friendly.

We visit this restaurant frequently the staff are always friendly with very good service. The menu is varied with reasonable prices. Food is always delicious and well presented. Would definitely recommend.

First visit to this venue in Poynton, been to Marple previously. Excellent service and food in a very busy,for a Thursday, establishment. Will return in the near future.

Food was surperb with great service, Totally enjoyable! The staff were very friendly and the restaurant had a warm and relaxed atmosphere. I would recommend the Bombay aloo as a sundries, it was delicious.

Excellent attentive but not intrusive service and great food. My wife and I enjoyed the freshly cooked starters and mains. We could see why it is a popular Indian restaurant.

Good selection of food and very tasty, including European menu too which pleased one of the members of our party. Restaurant very inviting and staff are polite and welcoming. Been a few times and service is always good.

Another good meal at the Purple Pokora in Poynton. Never fails really. Pretty busy for a Sunday evening and initial service a bit slow. Not sure if a bit short on staff on a Sunday? This didn’t detract from a good meal though as usual.

It is a lovely atmosphere. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Food amazing great choice of dishes on the menu. Worth every penny, it's not cheap but the food is very high quality

So nice and so clean food was amazing will be going back for sure we have four children with us and they made them feel so welcome not like other places
