Proprietor Gopi Singh knows his way around an Indian kitchen, and this nous is proudly on show at what you could very comfortably call his Stirling restaurant, Rana’s. Recently refurbished, Rana’s Friars Street address is all the more the ideal location for a cosy dinner date or a large gathering of friends, family or colleagues. Located in the city centre just minutes from Stirling railway station, the castle and the Thistle Centre shopping mall, it’s frequented by locals and visitors alike – bookings are advised, especially for large groups. Covering many a South Asian culinary base, Rana’s menu is clearly laid out chaat, lasan, poori pancakes and mixed platters to start through to specialty curries that takes their cues from recipes culled from the Punjab to the Goan coast.
Our meal was delicious, the chicken tikka was superb. We will definitely be back, again & again. Service was very good and a very relaxed atmosphere.
Excellent food and the service was second to none. Staff were very attentive and friendly and would certainly go back again. Thanks for a great night and we will see you again very soon.
Excellent Service, great food. Really polite waiters and nothing was a problem. Well done. I would not only go back next time I am in Stirling but also recommend Rana's too.
