Been here many times over the years - fabulous food - lovely staff - beautiful decor etc - best restaurant in Glasgow 🥰

Food was lovely. Had and Itison voucher from my daughter. Would have been happier with option to have dessert as opposed to starter. Never have starter and missed out on dessert. Otherwise good was delicious and service fab.

Food was presented beautiful and tasted even better. Nice choice to choose from. Will definitely be back.

Had a fantastic meal in Red Onion. They have the most amazing Gluten Free menu. It's brilliant to be able to get a 3 course meal with a proper pudding and not just ice cream

delicious food as always. I had the vegan bon bons which are always amazing, followed by the vegan curry which was tasty and filling. All good value and with great service

I’m a little torn with this as restaurant was lovely and staff were to, maybe too many staff as was approached a couple times for the same thing. Food wise I feel maybe trying too hard the cooking of everything was perfect and lovely but felt the duck spices/sauce didn’t work and the soup was a bit watery. Toilets were a massive let down to the rest of the place

5 of us visited the Red Onion for the Market Menu after the Drifters Girl show, the food and service was amazing

Had a lovely late lunch, enjoyed the food and the chilled atmosphere. The service was quick with pleasant staff too. We weren't rushed so had time to enjoy or bottle if wine.

Lovely waiting staff , good food in a pretty setting what more could you ask for 10/10

The French Onion soup is amazing. Other dishes were lovely. Very good value and friendly servers. John Quigley, chef/owner goes round tables to check his customers are happy. Can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough.

We had the pre theatre menu, 2 courses £22.50 it was delicious and great value for money. The atmosphere was casual and the service was great. Can't recommend enough. Will definitely be back!

We had the set menu and everything was excellent, I really enjoyed my starter of bang bang chicken. I have food intolerances and it was great to have a menu where most things I could eat. Staff and service were good. We will definitely be back.

Service was very off hand. It was very cold and draughty. The French onion soup isn't as good as it used to be, the steak frites were accompanied by a dried up over grilled tomato that shouldn't have been served and when we asked for mayonnaise a plastic bottle that needed cleaned was supplied. Not really impressed

Food and service was excellent Very enjoyable being there. Presentation and quality of food was outstanding. Will definitely be back

We are regular visitors to the Red onion. The food was nice enough, but Staff were not very welcoming on this occasion. Drinks glass was dirty when it arrived at our table and kitchen staff and waiting staff continually accessed the main door throughout our meal. This led to us being cold and not extending our meal.

Arrived about 30 mins before our booking on a wet Monday. Warmly greeted and shown to our seats. Immediately offered a drink and staff were knowledgeable about the bar stock. Great choices for an Itison deal and portions were full size both for starter and main. Food was delicious; well cooked and presented. Staff went out of their way to meet our needs. Cosy and calm vibe on a wintery evening. Slight delay on main course arriving but staff were charming and kept us nicely posted about it. Food was fresh, nicely seasoned and very tasty; generous portions. Music included some classy tracks perfect for background, allowing us to chat.

Me and my 2 daughters had a lovely 2 course lunch from the Itison and the fixed menu. All the different dishes were delicious as we all had a little nibble from each other’s plates

Visited with 3 friends. Food was delicious, staff very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely spacious booth. Would recommend a visit.

Starter was fine,disappointing steak ,meant to be ribeye very thin and dry wouldnt pay £3 supplement for it ,don't think we would go back
