We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We had the 2 course Itison voucher. Between us we had Bang Bang Chicken salad which was first class and the pate. Then Char grilled Lemon chicken with Korma sauce and the beef. We will certainly return thank you.

My first visit and now my favourite restaurant! There was an excellent range of options on the menu and our selected dishes were outstanding. The service was efficient, the staff were pleasant and I am looking forward to my next visit.

The food was really good, and the wine we ordered was lovely! The restaurant was uncomfortably warm and when we asked to be moved seat we were told there were no others available even though the restaurant was pretty empty.

It’s honestly the best food, such amazing favours and textures and yes it is gluten free. Fabulous food and fabulous service. Very personalised with the owner having a few Words with everyone. It’s a must for coeliacs

We’ve been to red onion a few times and it’s always great food in a great atmosphere. Won’t be long before we are back.

Very nice place. Food was excellent. Really good having a good vegan menu with several options for each course. Only minor grumble ....£5:45 for a small bottle of beer.

Vegan food very good service a bit abrupt plates just plonked down was served meat by mistake but it was quickly corrected . Quick which was good

First time I have visited when in Glasgow , as a coeliac the food options available to me were amazing. Unfortunately having had a starter and a main I was unable to have a pudding ☹️. I visited with 3 friends after our visit to the Kings Theatre what a great end to a lovely day. Everyone raved about their food and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back. xx

Had a lovely lunch from the a la carte menu. Scallops and cherizio and bang bang chicken to start. Both were gorgeous. Mains were the duck and the monkfish curry. Again both were super tasty. Restaurant decor was lovely. Our first time but won’t be our last. I’d highly recommend a visit.

Today Red Onion was a little disappointing. Meat was not as tender as usual and a bit fatty. Everything else was fine.

First time visiting the Red Onion but won’t be the last, good gluten free as well as dairy free menus, food and service both outstanding.

Great lunch time choice. Good range of dishes on menu. Waitress was lovely. Fast efficient service but not rushed. Will definitely revisit. 👍

Late Mother's Day lunch with my other half. Went for the Gluten Free set lunch. Really enjoyed the Bang Bang chicken starter. Then had the fish cake which was tasty with a super crunchy coating but it was very big, it could easily have been half the size. The brownie had a great texture and was delicious. Well done.

Menu pricing looks like it needs a bit of revision - only two mains were at the stated price, everything else had a supplement. Why not update everything to an inclusive price?

Even though we weren’t there for Mother’s Day we were given that menu. No other option. Menu was good and concise with a good selection.
