Our server was delightful, restaurant was comfortable and had lovely decor, food was really tasty - best vegan we have had in a long time.

Restaurant was cold food was nice but pork loin was small and a bit fatty.

Fantastic food and service as always, wine and food menu superb, superbly prepared by chef John Quigley Very very highly recommend

The food was really nice and in the main the servers we had were good. The place looked ‘tired’ and there was no atmosphere. The table although not directly in line with the door was draughty and the table next to us were given a table heater! The toilets, although clean were not the best. Really disappointed with our visit. The fact that a wee one screamed throughout of visit did not help but appreciate that nothing could be done by management to prevent that. Don’t think we would hurry back.

Good service and the food is above par. The waitress was the same one that looked after us for our same day out last year. So she is obviously good at her job. Did join in a conversation we were having at the table which I silently thought at the time was a bit off. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return to Red Onion.

Not been here for a long time, but atmosphere, service and food was great. Wife’s dietary requirements are gluten free and it was well catered for. Definitely return soon.

Food was very good. Our only complaint is that our table was near the door and it was very cold. A blast of cold air over us every time the door opened. Wouldn't recommend a table near the door.

Good choice of menu, tasty food and prompt service; very pleasant experience.

Perfection! A delicious, reasonably priced three courses with wine, served by friendly but unobtrusive staff. The chef/owner even did the rounds for a chat with the customers. We will definitely be back.

Pre theatre lunch before heading to the Kings. Amazing menu choices and the the goats cheese starter and Spanish pork main was amazing.

Love this restaurant. The food is excellent. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. It’s great that the chef comes out and speaks to the customers, a great touch. Will definitely be back.

Last visit was excellent, this time however we we’re Left very dissapointed, main course chicken was over cooked And tasteless as was my featherblade and accompaniments were very sparse, choice of deserts very poor.overall not good value for money.

First time clients- whole experience from entering the restaurant until we came out was first class. Staff couldn’t have been more attentive and the food was amazing. Will certainly recommend to family and friends. Hope to visit the next time we are in Glasgow.
