Beautiful food, great service, amazing company- the first two totally on Red Onion, last one to my fab besties!

First visit and definitely not last. Great choices on fixed price menu and value for money. Food was delicious. Very impressed with the Gluten Free menu for my daughter, so many for her to choose from too. We will be back.

Food and service was great. The temperature of the room was cold, was sat next fire exit with staff utilising the fire exit door for breaks and could smell cigerrates at times along with gusts of cold air, a little off putting.

Another great meal at this city centre restaurant. Whether you're dining from the pre-theatre menu or going full a la carte, the food is freshly prepared and of an excellent quality. Value for money, it can't be beaten. All of the staff, including the chef/owner, are friendly and welcoming. I have no qualms in recommending the Red Onion, and have done so to several of our friends.

We had a lively meal pre - theatre. Would totally recommend the Red Onion. The food was lovely and we were well looked after.

Food was lovely, service staff looked bored with us, no interaction and barely smiled. Had noted it was for a birthday when booking but nothing mentioned, yet another table for a birthday seemed to get lots of attention.

First to arrive, but the restaurant soon filled up. Didn't notice the noise level at all. My food was absolutely delicious but one of our party raised an issue about lemon grass left in the curry. She thought she could have broken a tooth..

Our server was delightful, restaurant was comfortable and had lovely decor, food was really tasty - best vegan we have had in a long time.

The food was really nice and in the main the servers we had were good. The place looked ‘tired’ and there was no atmosphere. The table although not directly in line with the door was draughty and the table next to us were given a table heater! The toilets, although clean were not the best. Really disappointed with our visit. The fact that a wee one screamed throughout of visit did not help but appreciate that nothing could be done by management to prevent that. Don’t think we would hurry back.

Booked a family lunch for christmas eve , lovely restaurant , great staff , wonderful food , fantsstic experience

The Christmas dinner was delicious, staff were fabulous. A great dining experience!

Good service and the food is above par. The waitress was the same one that looked after us for our same day out last year. So she is obviously good at her job. Did join in a conversation we were having at the table which I silently thought at the time was a bit off. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return to Red Onion.
