I come every year with my family when I visit Edinburgh best place in town

I've been many times, always good. Excellent in every way.

Looked after our party of 18 very well. Good food.

Excellent food and an excellent service. Go back without doubt.

The service was fantastic! Unobtrusive yet always there with drinks, refills, starters and mains served quickly and courteously. Don't let the walk in dissuade you. Go upstairs to the restaurant and enjoy your meal!

Have been a regular at the Rendezvous for 60 yrs. First Chinese restaurant in Edinburgh and still growing strong. Their spring rolls to die for. Service from Pham so good looking after his customers. 10/10 go visit close to the West End.

Simply the best Chinese restaurant in Edinburgh - been going to it for 50 years. Many come and go but the New Edinburgh Rendezvous remains at the top.

Nice restaurant. Very clean and good service. Food was not great.

First visit to Rendevous, really enjoyed everything. We will be back very soon as it is very central for transport for us.

Food choices and portion sizes ok. We felt the man who waited was a bit gruff/unprofessional with both his greeting and his table service.

Been going here for years as they do gluten free but the food was not very hot tonight so that was disappointing. Also not very many vegetables in the sweet and sour chicken. So disappointed tonight. Not sure if they have changed the chef. Also food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering so is it really freshly cooked?

Food was warm, not hot No hot trays on table to keep it warm Felt my veg in my dish was hard, uncooked Service was poor from the point of view, we were a table of 6, 2 had starters nearly finished and others just being served. My husbands noodles arrived half way through eating his main dish. The serving staff were not at all pleasant. When clearing the table, scraping the food off plates in front of us. Disgusting. Overall very disappointing and will not be returning. Would have requested a refund but it’s embarrassing when you take friends. Complete waste of £210.

Food was ok but nothing special ,had the lunchtime menu the grilled lemon chicken was a bit tough also had the crispy shredded chilly beef that was ok,wouldn’t rush back had better.

Everything was first class, service, atmosphere and of course, delicious food.
