Rendezvous Chinese Restaurant

I love visiting this restaurant when we are in Edinburgh lovely food and staff

Service very slow to begin with, waited about 15 minutes to get a menu. It was busy but our table was booked so would have expected a more efficient start to the evening. The food was good and great atmosphere which made for an enjoyable evening despite the slow start.

We meet once a month as a group and all agree that the Rendesvous is the best for good food and very good value. So much so that we will be going back at the end of May!

First visit. Will definitely be back next time in Edinburgh

Came for lunch on Sataurday. A lunch menu was available with 3 courses for about £9.00. Very good value for money. I will go again at lunchtime! :)

Went there for a pre-concert meal with my wife last night. The food, wine and service was amazing. We had the banquet of hot and sour soup, seaweed, aromatic crispy duck, lemon chicken, crispy shredded beef in chilii sauce, mixed vegetables, special fried rice, toffee apple with ice cream and coffee. The meal was £21.95 each which represented outstanding value for money. Highly recommended!!

Excellent visit, great food (as always) very good service, very helpful as 2 of the guests had allergies and the staff could not have been more helpful in making sure that they were well catered for and they really enjoyed the experience and will go back.

Great food, reasonably priced and staff were great, Atmosphere was a little lacking at the start of the meal but improved later on in the meal. More to do with us booking an early sitting than the actual restaurant I would say.

Generous portions. Starter was lovely but roast duck overcooked, dry, grey and cool.

Unfortunately a large party behind us were exceptionally loud at times. Not the fault of the restaurant and they were celebrating a birthday so no complaints.

Everything good on a busy Friday night. Food was lovely. The staff were nice. Only small things is the table was a bit small for our banquet.
