I Booked a table for my partners 30th Birthday and was not disappointed. The food was delicious and the waiting staff were very pleasant. we were seated in a booth which made for a a very Special evening.

Excellent service excellent food would highly recommend it if you are looking for quality Japanese food. Also have a great lunch time menu with good choice

Best restaurant in Beverley by a country mile! Ogino's just keeps on giving & exudes quality from reception to final goodbye. We will be back!

The ambience of the restaurant is very crisp, clean and as you would expect oriental. The waiters were very polite and informative about the food, they explained everything. Be careful with any travelzoo deals or whatever you may have, it doesn't include side orders or drinks. But nevertheless you'll enjoy yourself I'm sure, we would definitely go back.

Ogino is an excellent restaurant serving delicious Japanese food. We have visited it many times and we have always experienced good service and good food.

Excellent introduction to Japanese food - Loved watching the chefs at work, the atmosphere was good, staff engaged and the food tasted great too. Would highly recommend.

Delicious, well prepared, cooked and original. Staff are friendly and the restaurant itself is quite modern, inviting and nice. You can see the food being prepared which is generally a good sign!

Lovely meal, food was amazing. Best sushi around. I will be coming back again soon, definitely recommend a visit and the cod and scallops was gorgeous!

Ogino always lives up to expectations. The food is beautiful and very well presented. Can't rate it highly enough. The staff are very helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Love it.

Superb food, nicely presented. Interesting menu. Lovely atmosphere. One minor downside is, having been seated near the kitchen, our clothes and hair smelled of cooking- don't wear your best dry-clean only outfit.

Great place and food, really enjoyed it. Would be better if wet hand towels were available like in traditional japanese restaurants, as well as a wider range of meals such as kid meals and salads.

Overall v good ambiance and food but whole experience ruined by refusal to issue a credit note for our outstanding balance for our voucher. Poor.

Starter very nice indeed but the main courses (4) were so full of sugar it was almost like eating pork/salmon/noodles in syrup. Nice restaurant and atmosphere but disappointing nontheless

My first visit to this Japanese restaurant and it didn't disappoint - from the Plum Sake apperitif to the yummy dessert! Fresh, fragrant and delicious flavours all within a lovely ambience. Staff were friendly, very knowledgable and on hand to give recommendations to us newbies. We'll certainly visit again. Thank you.

Very classy restaurant, went on saturday with my wife for her birthday. Food was fresh, and very well presented. Service was ok, but despite spilling some noodles on the table cloth early in the evening, and various waiters visiting the table, nobody cleared it up, which i was amazed. Also, my wife and i, like to drink chardonnay wine, but there was not one bottle on the wine list. Maybe i am old fashioned, but i did expect to see at least one oriental chef present, but sadly none. We would have liked a bit of an explanation of the various dishes, and some reccomendations, but got none. The many staff all seemed busy cleaning up, arranging tables, rather than helping us really enjoy the Japanese expierience. Overall, a great concept, but the sercice levals, especially at these prices should be much better.

We were visiting the local area for a couple of days and were recommended Ogino by the accommodation. The food was fantastic especially the oyster shooters, wine was good and service was great. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Delicious food wonderfully presented .The staff smile and are well informed about the Japanese menu. We weren't rushed and had the opportunity to chat between courses without feeling the service was less than excellent.

This is the sixth time we have eaten at Ogino. The service has always been good. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The food is extremely tasty and well presented. Try the Beef Teriyaki- it's so tasteful and the Sushi tests the tastebuds. Thoroughly enjoyable and value for money.

Great birthday night for my wife, cool place, fab menu, Love it..........one of the top restaurants in the area by far, once inside you could be in any city in the world.

Very attentive and pleasant staff. Food was all nice and presented on beautiful stoneware. Menu is not at all traditional and I was at a bit of a loss to find something to order. I find fusion food confusing. I should have just ordered anything and I am sure it would have been nice... but I kept looking for something I recognised. Great for a special night out.

Excellent food, great staff. Well worth a visit to try their superb food. The four seasons dessert was especially delicious. If you've never tried Japanese food this restaurant is bound to win you over.

We have visited Ogino on numerous occasions. The food is excellent and the choice on the menu is fabulous, all the staff are all very well informed of all dishes on the menu so can guide the customer. We look forward to our next visit.
