We have visited this restaurant several times and it never disappoints. Lovely ambience, staff friendly and helpful and the food is fabulous. There is always a good choice in the menu and the food is always fresh and cooked to order

The food was lovely and the waitress/waiter were always taking care of course. There are a lot of choices in the main menu and all taste so good !

Although two of the party of four thought that they didn't much like Japanese food, they had changed their minds after Ogino in Beverley. Only one complaint: no Western cutlery (except by request!)

Fantastic food in a great atmosphere with great service the sushi plafter is worth the Visit alone. Will definitely be going again. Would recommend Ogino to anyone.

Fantastic food the presentation was amazing staff very attentive and a nice relaxing atmosphere. When I booked I told them it was our anniversary and when they brought our dessert it was on a slate with happy anniversary written on in raspberry sauce and a fireworks candle it was lovely of them to do that

As always we received a friendly welcome and were shown straight to our table. The food was delicious, very colourful and well presented, atmosphere was good and staff were professional and pleasant.

Excellent food, excellent service. Would definitely recommend 👍. So good even my wife who wouldn't normally entertain the thought of sushi was converted!!. Will be back

Lovely sushi. Superbly crafted and presented. Loved the soft shell crab roll. Bit pricey, but nice for a special occasion. The floor was a bit bouncy (every time someone walked past) by our table (in front of the kitchen). Staff were attentive and efficient, but could have been more sociable.

As always the food and service was very good .. and my daughter said it is the best sushi that she has and always have a takeaway for the next day

The best food in the area, always a fantastic meal! The starter sharing platter is particularly good and the staff are very helpful in explaining what everything is. The sea bass main dish is exceptional!

Our first visit to Ogino, and our first experience of Japanese food. Decor and ambience was first class, food choice varied, delicious and plentiful, and staff attentive, courteous, and a credit to Ogino. A real treat.

Another great night. Fab food and excellent service. Veg and vegan menu superb. Everything is explained and attention to the things that matter like celebrating a birthday and asking at the beginning of the night if we're celebrating anything is nice personal touch. Well done!

Absolutely outstanding service and food as always at ogino, still the best restaurant in the area by far in my opinion! Couldn't fault a single thing about the meal or service we received all evening.

A fantastic range of cocktails to start. The sake avocado roll is definitely a favourite for me! Delicious Plum sake to finish off a fab meal!

After a fantastic meal (as usual) we were given a crash course in Sake sampling at the bar. Great laugh and educated at the same time!

Great service, professional and fantastic food. Sesame seed creme brulee was the amazing. Sushi was well made and full of flavour. Quite expensive but worth it for a special occasion.
