The Rose Garden is an apt name for a restaurant that finds itself in such close vicinity to London’s iconic Hyde Park. The London Elizabeth hotel on Lancaster Terrace in Bayswater (Lancaster Gate tube – Central line) is the fitting old-world home for this traditional British restaurant. Serving rustic English country house classics with a smattering of European and international dishes too, means that the Rose Garden Restaurant is a quiet haven of fine dining in W2.

Not as expected It was highly recommended but I don’t recommend
Nobady greeted us when we came in. Then they said that we have not booked afternoon tea for 8 person. I showed them my confirmation mail. They they set the table. Sweet bakery was good but sandwiches were not. We tried to pay and they charged the sum 3 times. And then corrected it. Maybe another place for you, next London visitor?
Got there was given menu and was told some of the menu was not on. After asking for some items was then given the menu showing what we could have. This was about half the menu or less. The menu was not that big.
The kitchen at the Rose Garden Restaurant inside London Elizabeth hotel on Lancaster Terrace in Bayswater term their cooking Country Casual. The kitchen takes the majority of their influences from classic British cuisine, but is expansive enough to incorporate elements from international cuisines, no doubt in a bid to offer their jet set guests a flavour of home while they are guests in London. Expect traditional favourites like sea bass and peppered chicken to sit comfortably with Middle Eastern classics like sharing mezze plates and iconic Indian dishes on the menu here.
The kitchen meticulously prepares everything it serves, from the bread and cakes which go into the Rose Garden’s perennially popular afternoon tea offers, to the preparation of cuts of lamb and beef for the main courses. Guests are invited to dine in the restaurant’s chic dining room, or, weather permitting, out on the garden’s terrace. Bayswater’s London Elizabeth hotel on Lancaster Terrace is open to guests for food all day long, breakfast is served from 7am until 10am (7.30am-10.30am on Sundays) and for guests of the hotel, the restaurant is pleased to offer their food as room service.
