We’ve been visiting Lincoln for years but never visited the royal William we really wish we had The staff were very welcoming the pub itself is very nice the food was one of the best Sunday lunches we have had in Lincoln drinks prices were reasonable As it was mother’s day it was busy so there was a wait for food the complimentary Prosecco for mums was a very nice touch

Very nice food, I didn’t have one but the roast looked amazing and the portions were large. The decor and presentation were also nice.

Fast and efficient service with welcoming and attentive staff, obviously freshly prepared and cooked

It is situated in the Brayford wharf , which is always busy. It is a charming pub and the food was excellent. We reserved a table as we were told it would be busy and it was very . The range of food was excellent.

Really nice Sunday lunch with the kids, made to feel welcome and not rushed by staff. Good value for money as well and decent beers

We booked through Quandoo and the king William received our booking. The service was very good and the Sunday was worth every penny. I will definitely book again

Had a really lovely meal of steak and peppercorn sauce. Cooked just right. Great ambience and very attentive staff. Excellent all round. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was really lovely apart from running out of the garlic prawns which could not be helped and the substitute scampi was good too. The staff however did forget to bring my table the bread and oils on arrival and went straight to bringing starters but it was a lovely night regardless

Lovely night.for Valentine's Day. Food good with good service and good value value for money. Would love to come back to Lincoln and visit again.

Lovely Sunday lunch spent in lovely surroundings. The roast Sunday dinner was fantastic. My wife had the Greek salad which she was a bit disappointed in as there was enough feta cheese on it but all in all a very nice lunch with very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend.

In the top 2 of Lincoln Sunday lunches, very good. service a little slow and never asked if we’d like desserts. Waited 15mins while having another pint after clearance, still no offer or menus brought. So paid and left. Would visit again as lunch that good.

Heaven on a plate. Cannot be faulted, Excellent as always, would highly recommend to any visitor to Lincoln City Centre. Would visit every day if I could afford it.

Beautiful clean restaurant. We had the lamb and the chicken Sunday dinners both were amazing :) Homemade Yorkshire puddings and proper gravy. Very happy full customers :)

Good food and beer, reasonably priced, served by pleasant and helpful staff. The chairs and tables could be more comfortable and there was nowhere to hang my coat.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. There is a good choice of food and both meals we enjoyed. They where very busy on Sunday...so I would book to avoid disappointment. However if they can fit you in on arrival they will.

Had the most amazing Sunday roast here today to celebrate my birthday. The staff were lovely too. Glad we booked though because they were turning people away.

Lovely meal, food cooked and presented perfectly. Kerry deserves a special mention for giving us the heads up to sit down slightly earlier than our booking time as there was a large party booked in at the same time. A really nice touch to ensure we weren't left waiting for food. All the staff were friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble.

Meal was excellent together with waitress service, pleasant and happy to help. Couldn't fault it and would always choose to eat here when in Lincoln.

This is. lovely friendly pub with good beer and excellent food. There is a quiz on Tuesdays which is also great fun. I would certainly recommend this pub for anyone visiting Lincoln.
