Salt Bistro

The food and cocktails were good and reasonably priced. Unfortunately the service was very slow. The waiter was trying hard but seemed a bit overwhelmed.

We were very happy with the quality of service and food in Salt. Staff were prompt and welcoming and we were not rushed out of the restaurant when we had finished our meal which allowed for a very relaxed feel to the evening.

Excellent meal, staff very pleasant. Quality of the food was exceptional and quantity also. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and we will definitely return.

Great service and nice food in the cathedral quarter of Belfast. Lovely little tourist spot close to some of the best bars in the town

The food was lovely, especially the steak. However the Service was slow, asked for the desert menu and it never arrived, so we ended up leaving.

Dreadful front of house ‘welcome’, i.e. non-existent, leaving us standing for several minutes before being waved to a corner table. No written explanation of the day’s specials, just a perfunctory garbled run-through. The table had not been fully cleaned before use. With one exception, the servers were careless. Food was acceptable but the overall experience was irritating.

Really fab restaurant and delicious food!!! Lovely setting and staff very friendly. Yummy steak and chips followed by the crumble and my hubby had the sticky toffee pudding which was divine too!

Best goat's cheese and beetroot salad starter that I have ever had. Excellent service and a good atmosphere. Very convenient when going to The Mac.

Staff were lovely! We were in a rush to get to the theatre and they couldn’t do enough to get us some lovely fresh food before we hit the road! Will be back again :)

Visited the restaurant on a Thursday night and pleasantly full with tables arranged to allow intimate dining. Service was great and the quality of the food was to a very high standard. Flavour, presentation and attention to detail excellent and value for money. Will visit again.

An excellent meal in very pleasant surroundings. The service was very efficient and friendly. We had our meal early (18.00) and there was no deadline to vacate our table. We will certainly be back.

The restaurant was a little cold, and the food wasn't particularly hot either. Other than that, quite nice. Had the cod which seemed fresh. .

Warm welcome, nice comfortable surroundings, attentive but not annoyingly so staff. Good wine selection, and most important food good. One piece of advice, warm plates, food needs to stay warm. Would recommend, and will go back. Most enjoyable.

The restaurant is a hidden gem, the food was amazing all locally sourced (where possible) and the staff were magnificent. It has been a long since I enjoyed enjoyed a meal this much. I do not live in Belfast and was only visiting but if I did live there I would definitely visit this restaurant regularly.

Tasty meals. Prices well aligned to food quality. Sincerely attentive to customer wine preference. Not rushed from table despite having a long lunch. Most hospitable.

Went there for a business dinner. It was during the week and quite early in the evening but I was surprised to find the restaurant empty, especially as I found the food quite nice. I will certainly be back to give it a second shot.

Reasonably priced. Service and food was average. Additional incorrect items were added to our bill, this was rectified however it is disappointing that this happened.

Excellent quality had the hake special which was beautiful & the colcannon was favourite part of dish. My only complaint is that I would have liked more vegetables. Other than that everything was excellent, I'll be back😊

Very good experience. I visited along with my daughter and her two young children. The waitress was efficient,helpful to adults and children alike. The standard and presentation of foood was excellent. Fully deserving of maximum rating.

I have been to salt a few times before so brought 4 customers with me for dinner, none of whom had been before. The food was delicious . I had the lamb which was melt in the mouth. There is a good selection of drinks and gins more importantly! The atmosphere was comfy and relaxed. For 5 of us with 2 drinks each and 3 courses it was £199. Great dining experience and location. Very happy customers !

Good food, a nice selection of cocktails and good service. A couple of problem swith the food order were dealt with quickly and without fuss.

Food excellent risotto always lovely. Staff pleasant and very friendly and they don't rush you off your table. I would recommended Salt Bistro for lunch or dinner.
