Excellent meal. V good value and service. Would go back and recommend to other people. Good parking over the road. Well maintained and pleasing decor

Decided to try San Lorenzo on the High Street for a change. Had a lovely evening with great service and well presented good wholesome food. We will be back.

The kitchen forgot our order so we ended up waiting an hour for our food with no discount offered. Won't be going back in a hurry.

Fantastic warm welcome great service and the food amazing very impressed will be back can't wait for the next birthday so probably be there once a month 😀😀👍👍

Excellent service and first class food as usual. San Lorenzo is one of our favourite restaurants and a we visit regularly; do book though as it is very popular.

Fantastic service - the waiters couldn’t do enough for us and allowed us to change the menu options so that they matched our requests. Food was absolutely spot on, cooked to perfection. Overall a brilliant experience.

Wonderfully friendly staff brilliant with my 7 year old. We received a very warm welcome. Great choice of menu we ordered calamari and mussels with chilli and tomato to start, sirloin steak which was cooked perfectly and garlic king prawns with braised pasta for mains both were absolutely gorgeous. The little one had potato skins to start made his own pizza which was done at table side he loved this. All in all wonderful restarant staff and food.

The menu is varied and food is always good, it has a lovely atmosphere and staff are friendly. We have eaten here before and have never been disappointed. We would recommend it without hesitation.

Waiters couldn’t be more attentive. Restaurant has a good atmosphere. Food isn’t exceptional but certainly on most of the menu, it is above average. I must have been impressed sufficiently to keep going back.

Friendly attentive staff throughout but not in your face all the time. Menu is very comprehensive with great variations. The food was delicious from Italian classics to Sunday lunch. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

Visited on a very quiet late Friday lunchtime. Had the place almost to ourselves, so service was good and so was the food.

Great atmosphere even during the week. Amazing food and excellent service from the friendly staff. I can definitely say this is my favourite restaurant in Gosforth!

nice place, but felt a little ignored. Booked for a birthday celebration but nothing special happened although I saw some else get a small piece of cake / candle. They seemed to forget about us, didn’t even get asked if we wanted a dessert. Friendly staff but overall service not great

This was our second visit to San Lorenzo, both at lunch time. Cozy, comfortable restaurant with good food and good service. Quite quiet at lunchtime. We will be back!

Visited with grandaughter for her birthday, first time since re opened, found it to have a nice atmosphere friendly staff,quick service tasty food at a very reasonable price

I don't like the shredded beef for the bolognaise its not as good as minced beef and did not taste as good although it was on a pizza it was not as nice as it could have been.

Food was lovely, staff great (as always) and fantastic atmosphere in there. My only criticism if I had to would be that the side salad served with the steak could be better. But overall a great restaurant that we always enjoy going to!

An excellent meal, good atmosphere, attentive service and nicely presented food. Starters were bruschetta and mozzarella followed by 2 salmons and one very large pizza. Wine, coffees and bottled water at a total cost of £61 for a group of 3. San Lorenzo is a welcome addition to Gosforth High st, we will return.

No Sunday lunch available as advertised on web page so we were disappointed. It wasnt succesful apparently. Food was ok but not up to usual standard .

Lovely food, nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. We had the good value Presto menu at 2 courses for £9.95 and enjoyed our pizzas and delicious chicken risotto. One of our favourite restaurants in the area.

great food and service. Booking app said the restaurant was 'busy' at the time i looked to book, however on entering the restaurant it was barely full. Could have gone earlier if it was not so misleading.

Service was Good but Quality of Food has Dropped Dramatically which is such a shame as it was First Class and Second to None we really need to look at what we are Serving Customers and get back to the Beat Again it's not a Hard ask.
