We were asked to be seated, had booked a table in advance for my birthday but still sat in the usual area. No one came to take our drinks order for 20 minutes! The food was lukewarm at best, not much selection. The mint sauce was sour indicating it was spoilt or out of date. There was a long queue for the ice cream as no one was at the stand. Usually the stir fry is my favourite, however it was watery and slightly undercooked.

11 of us went tonight for 2 birthday celebrations, the staff were rude interrupting conversations asking us rudely to pass them the empty plates, we had to ask 2 times for the cakes to come out with candles on, then they placed them on the table to light the candle (no good if it was a surprise) we asked for the cake boxes 15mins prior to our end time, then the man in charge asked us to leave the table as our time was up (still waiting for the cake boxes) we asked the other bloke for cake boxes again, still nothing. The man in charge came back over and asked us to leave, when we told him we were still waiting for the boxes, he said "take the cakes to the door and l will give you the boxes there" we said no and he was very rude. we complained to him that we had spent £294 on our meals (which we had to pay when we arrived, before we could eat) he didn't even look at us and kept asking us to leave the table. When we went to speak to the manager, he was just as rude and wasn't interested at all, kept saying that he needed the table. We will not go here again, the price of everything has gone up alot which l understand so has everything, but to be treated like that after spending so much money is discusting, there was about 2 staff members out of all of them who were friendly, the rest of them just rude.

We were seated really quickly and the server was really friendly and welcoming. Food was plentiful and hot. Great selection too.

As it was my birthday I wanted to go to my favourite place. as always, food was lovely. A bit slow on the plate collection tonight, so they did pile up a bit.

Food was overall good but would prefer them to charge at entrance if they want payment upfront instead of letting you sit and then come and charge you as soon as they bring your drinks. Also unpleasant sewerage smell coming from toilets when you walked in. Cocktail prices very high. Overall disappointed as haven't been for about a year and remembered it being much better.

Arrived on a busy early Thursday evening which added to the atmosphere, however the popular parts of the buffet were neglected, some of the dishes were tired, dried out, unappealing and in need of replacing/topped up. The serving staff were attentive.

Room wasn’t ready for the time we got there plus tried to leave other dinners in the room with us when we had booked the room out for a private party had to move tables ourselves then staff kept opening door in room and all night we kept getting a freezing cold bitter breeze coming in

Good visit however a lot of things needed replenishing and having to ask for this to be done. They have changed their policy which you now pay upfront for your meal however I do prefer that so you can leave when you want rather than waiting for a bill. Toilets were clean on this visit and drinks arrived swiftly. The range of items were smaller than usual I felt however what was there was decent quality
