Saphari restaurant

Food wasn’t very nice, the curries were watery, the Caribbean food was not edible. All meats were very dry and chewy. Really disappointed and will not be returning again during the week days. To top it off, 3 out of 9 of us have food poisoning

The staff was so welcoming as it was our first time, they were very helpful, atmosphere was great the food was really good and very clean. We will definitely be going back there

Excellent so much choice of different types of food. Enough choices no matter whether meat eaters, vegetarian or vegan

The oxtail had a strong smell indicating the meat was spoiled. This was obvious before eating, yet it was still prepared and served. I did not consume the food and left it. This raises serious concerns about food safety, particularly whether the food is being freshly prepared or reheated from previous days.

Starters where good as always main dishes were okay disappointing no ice cream available table was very unstable and wobbly

Took 30 mins for drinks to arrive and then 3 of the drinks were wrong.half way through meal and man comes up with a card machine saying I had to pay now! I said I will pay after my meal I’m not paying half way through. This was meant to be for my daughters 16th birthday treat

Attended 19.30 last night for my Dads birthday, paid £21.99 each, 4 of us attempted the food, barely any food in the starter trays, what was there was not warm, had gone cold and had very obviously been there a long time, totally appreciate midweek evening and less busy, steamed rice was cold and hard, chinese curry dish eas dauce with onions, sweet and sour was sauce and a few peppers, Gave our feedback to a pleasant member of staff, he was told to offer to make us whatever fresh food we wanted from the kitchen, by this time we'd had enough of the substandard food, we asked for partal refund as we had eaten some food, no mention of any refund. Will definitely not be going there again! Would absolutely not recommend Saphari on Wolverhampton Road to anyone!

Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Only slight negative was the choice of traditional Xmas dinner food items. Would otherwise definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again.

food was good, replenished quickly. only issue really was the fact we had paid for our meals, one of which was blue light discounted and even after paying we was approached to say that discount wasn't available till 5th January and had to pay the extra back despite already paying. this should have been honoured.

Service was quick and easy, booked in advance so no waiting around, food first class as always.

Food was lovely as usual but the service was bad we are usually regulars but now maybe reconsidering.

Everything was good until ignorant people barge you out of the way, and then trying to get some of the Christmas meat was not good, just greedy people.

Worst Christmas dinner we have ever had not many options for Christmas dinner also the food that was on offer was stone cold! The staff were very slow to replenish any food that wasn’t there that needed topping up, we are very upset by this after hearing so many good things.

The traditional Xmas food wasn't as good this year, the rest of our food was only luke warm after waiting 20 minutes for the gravy and yorkshires to be refilled, no traditional veg ,sprouts,carrots,broccoli etc starters and deserts were good though.

It was very busy when we arrived, however, we were still greeted and shown to our table quickly. A wide variety of choices which catered for our whole parties tastes. Dishes were cleaned away efficiently by friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Saphari, and will definitely return.

We booked our church ladies Christmas dinner meal and food was great, after meal spend time in the bar area for drinks and photos on the beautiful Christmas tree

Excellent as Always family of 4 great experience and really good food. Gets a bit pricey for family of 4. I think they need to work on some bonus scheme or discount scheme after so many visits etc bring prices down for families

Went there to celebrate my partners 60th and my daughters 21st birthdays. Excellent food. Staff are friendly and helpful. The chefs are brilliant. Great atmosphere. Will defiantly be going again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

food was good and replaced quickly when empty. only downfall for me, was as it was wednesday not very busy so alot empty tables yet put us next to a group of 4 who were very rude. other than that was an okay night.
