The food was great, good sized portions at decent prices, the service was good as well making it all round nice meal! Will defo be back!

We both had steak, which had a delicious flavour, but were both a bit chewy. The service was good (very helpful) but a bit slow.

Came here with a few friends, advanced booking recommended. Great food and staff. Portions are very big so don't load up on bread before hand. Would go back next week!

Great service, great food, huge portions and the selections were vast. We love meat so this was a perfect place to come to and we've never been to a South African restaurant before so it was a nice change

Huge steaks. Seriously. One for the bucket list. Ideal place for hungry teenagers (I have two). We all ate so much we had a hard time walking afterwards. Friendly service too. Go.

Its all about the Meat, great steaks cooked very well, loved the meal we had. We both had starters and a main course no room for a sweet. We will use again.

Beautiful food. Very friendly staff. Portions large (enough for lunch the next day). Will definitely be returning. Next time I'll be trying their melktert to see if it's as good as my Mums.

Great service and atmosphere. Good food and even have some veggie options which were as mouth watering as the meat offerings. Went on a friends recommendation...glad I did, great night out.

Excellent food and very friendly staff, a really unusual dining experience and highly recommended to anyone wanting a convivial and hospitable evening. We will be back soon to try more from the very interesting menu.

Excellent. We went for lunch before the rugby It was very busy but the staff coped very well, quick and friendly service. Great big helpings of meat we shared the starter bucket which was probably a bit more than we really needed between two of us. But we finished it anyway! The steak was well cooked and the lamb curry was very tasty. Finished off with a couple of beers a tremendous start to the day Followed by a Scotland win at the rugby made a very good day all round. It wasnt cheap but for the amount we ate it was very good value for money

Food and service both outstanding! Can't wait to get back to try more of the menu. The steak was to die for, cooked perfectly. Didn't fit in dessert unfortunately but will save room for next time.

Fantastic, great steak and the staff were excellent and very professional. I changed my reservation from Monday to Tuesday by voicemail and they called me back to confirm. I would recommend anyone to try the t-bone! But don't order a starter and when you see it you will know exactly what I mean :)

Starter would of been amazing if the beef wasn't so chewy Waited roughly 30mins for our main course to come which wasn't that great at all was far to salty (beef stew) and seen someone else sending their food back for being cold Waitress's were plesent and seemed rushed of their feet, however they didn't ask how the meal was so didn't really get the chance to say any of this at the time Wouldn't recommend or go back

The steaks were delicious, cheeta was plenty big enough! The staff and service they provided was super! Great atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting again.

Best steak I've ever had and the peppermint torte is to die for! I don't think I'll be having a lion steak next time as in absolutely stuffed but will definitely be back.

Wonderful restuarant. Great food, good ambience, fantastic staff. A meat-lover's paradise! Have eaten here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. The steak is cooked to perfection, the prawns are plump and juicy, and the burgers...well they're something else. Highly recommended.

Fantastic service nd the food was amazing. We had the t-bone and fillet! They were cooked perfectly and the portions were very generous. Wine was reasonably priced and I would highly recommend !

I went to Shebeen for lunch on a Saturday as a solo diner and had a great experience. I ordered the Boerewors Roll, which was very good, but I would definitely recommend getting a burger - they looked amazing! Overall, the restaurant had a great environment with fun decor and music, and I enjoyed it a lot.

The service was incredible and the food was to die for. Drove over an hour to get there but it was well worth it and would do it again in a heart beat! Absolutely loved it.

Massive amounts of meat! Portions are double what you would expect to see on a plate! Great wines. Really friendly servers who help you understand all their unique dishes. 😊

Shebeen never fails to delight. I love this place. Friendly staff, amazing steaks. We always enjoy going. Even the mushrooms and salad that comes with it are great too.

My 'go to' steak house ! The Lion Rib Eye will satisfy the mightiest of hungers. Great relaxed atmosphere too. Good value for money too, given the meat cut !

Really great food - a meat eaters paradise - delicious juicy steaks and great desserts. Quite a 'Rustic' feel to the restaurant, capturing the South African feel, and really friendly staff
