Lovely food and very friendly and helpful manager. Shame about the staff who repeatedly delivered the wrong order. We ordered two dhal but got one, then two rice and one arrived and to top it, two deserts - one arrived but at least we got two spoons! We also ordered some tap water to go with our wine. The jug arrived and was taken away again. But didn't spoil the evening and love this restaurant.

Excellent food and service - I would definitely recommend it and will go again. Not your typical Indian food - subtly spiced and different flavours.

Its been a couple of years since we've been to the Sherpa kitchen, and I don't know why we waited so long. Excellent meal as last time, and great service.

Fabulous food, really friendly service and a bill at the end which was very reasonable. We will back for more as soon as we can find an excuse !

Quie Slow service but they were busy .lovely food. Don't get put off by the entrance door. It looks as if you are entering a closed down shop

An interesting menu which is well executed with sensibly sized portions and good service. We have been several times and it has never disappointed us.

Good food, good service, and a bit different. However, tables very close together and a lot of background noise from others talking. Restaurant is small.

The food and service are hard to beat. 10-years since my last visit and still going strong. Fabulous restaurant with the friendliest staff and great food.

First and foremost, the food was very good. The problem was the service was not great, we had a 9pm booking where the table wasn't available until near 9.30pm, we then had to chase elements of service (drinks and food order) so that we could try and relax and enjoy the experience - The result was our meal didn't arrive until 10.30pm. The restaurant was very busy and they seemed to be understaffed to cope, this resulted in 'not a great service experience' and I will think twice before going back.

A welcome return visit to the Sherpa Kitchen. Small restaurant with a big atmosphere. A very tasty meal (crisp & fresh flavours) and very welcoming staff.

A very disappointing visit, it took 20 minutes for them to take our drinks order and then another 20 to bring the drinks. There was a gap of at least ½ hour between finishing our starter and receiving our main course. Despite the excellent food we will not be dining here again, given the terrible level of service.

My husband and myself visited Sherpa Kitchen on Friday 13th May 2016. As always we thoroughly enjoyed Mr Om's hospitality, the service is excellent. The food is always well served along with good choices of wines available.

Altogether a lovely experience. Visited with my mother and daughter - who enjoyed their meals also. Food and service very good and will return again.

Excellent as always. This is our 6th visit. We went with our 2 children last night. Definitely we recommend this resturant to any one who wants to try Napeleese food. Booking in advance recommended.

Excellent food - full of fresh flavour, excellent service, only comment is that the acoustics are such that general shatter bounces around the room making it difficult to have a quiet conversation with someone sitting opposite you.

Went to Sherpa kitchen for Sunday lunch with the family and had the best experience. Although we www the only people there, it felt like a very special private dining experience with impeccable service and delicious food. We all loved it!

Food was really great but the service was slow and forgot to bring a couple of drinks! It was very busy so this could be why the waiters forgot when we asked for some things. Other than that all the waiters were very friendly and I would recommend for a well priced, different from your standard curry!

Lovely tasty food,lots of spices came through when eating some if the main meals. We felt the price was very fair and would certainly go back.

Good friendly service, menu options were plenty. We had the Sunday special two courses plus a vegetable dish plus rice or plain nann for £15.99 exceptional value all dishes were very tasty and it was good to see a variety of vegetables available. We will definitely be going again.

As always the staff were very helpful, although the food was again very tasty some of the mains were unfortunatly delivered to the table colder than ideal.

Excellent dinner at the Sherpa Kitchen with wonderful cuisine and first-class staff. The manager recommended a selection of Nepali dishes which were specially prepared for our table. Booking was essential as the restaurant was full which demonstrates the popularity of the Sherpa Kitchen. We will certainly be returning.

Not been here for years but food was just as delicious as I remembered. Restaurant was pretty much full but the staff were efficient and friendly. Only slight problem was that the front door doesn't close itself and customers kept leaving it open on their way in / out so it was freezing!

Excellent food and service. It was New Years Day so we were almost the only ones in the restaurant, so can't comment on the atmosphere.

I would have given the restaurant 6 if it had more vegetarian main courses. Apart from that it was excellent. Waiting staff very good and efficient.

Sadly not as good as previous visits. Had to ask twice for pickles accompanying papadoms. Waiter put out hot plates three times before the main course arrived as these kept going cold due to the wait for the food to turn up. Hopefully the experience of the latest visit was just a blip as during previous times the service has been superb. We will see on our next visit.

very good food and service.....quick fresh tasting and tangy flavours, friendly personal service..very very satisfied....would be better with a proper coffee machine, do restaurants in the UK really display coffee machines that take capsules?

Excellent food. A really special dining experience to enjoy. Friendly atmosphere and clean and tidy. We would give it 6 out of 6 for all aspects. Wonderful!!!
