Simply Greek Tavern

Excellent atmosphere and food alike. Staff were attentive but not overalls so. We enjoyed the meze platter which provide a wonderful selection of starters and main course. Fantastic.

Simply Greek Tavern in the centre of Newcastle is very authentic. The staff are very nice and the food was fantastic,we had decided to go for a pre-curser meal as we're off to Crete again in a few weeks.The food was fantastic and very authentic if you closed your eyes you were sitting in a taverna on the centre of any greek town.The food was up there with some of the best I've tasted and it was washed down with a couple of Mythos.Will definitly be going back for another meal when we get back off our jolies.

Excellent, as always! Lovely, authentic, flavoursome Greek food and a wonderful atmosphere. And the staff could not be more attentive. A great place for a night out!

Cant fault it. It was our wedding anniversary so thats why we booked it. Staff were nice and friendly. Food was totally delicious. Would definately recommend....

great atmosphere, good food and wine, very reasonably priced will definitely go back, good for larger parties, good fun night out with the greek dancing, singers and belly dancer. Friendly pleasant staff.

Simply Greek had a Lovely atmosphere and beautiful food, Great friendly staff. Better than some restaurants I visited recently in Crete well worth a visit.

The food was delicious the staff were attentive and friendly the atmosphere created with the live music made me think of the holiday 's spend in Greece. To top it all even did some Greek Dancing. Had a great night will be booking again soon .

What a lovely meal we had . I went with a Groupon voucher and was surprised at how much food we got and it was delicious. The staff at this restaurant are so friendly and the service was superb. I will be back

Been looking for a nice Greek for a while and this place was great just like being back in Greece. Food exactly what I remember it being in Greece brought back good memories will defiantly be going back. The staff were all friendly and made for a great night

Fantastic traditional Greek restaurant. We had the Greek meze for 2 which was lovely! I can highly recommend this restaurant for a real taste of Greece.

Atmosphere was pleasant. Food and service were very good and staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. The only downside was there was no children's menu.

Interesting and tasty selection of dishes in the meze meal. Attentive service, easy atmosphere. Would recommend to try it. nothing else to say, but had to reach the minimum number of words.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit on Thursday. My wife's Stifado was delicious and the lamb Kleftiko just fell off the bone. Beautiful. I will be back.

Simply Greek was Simply Fantastic. After saying we were going to try this place for a while, we finally did and was not disappointed. The food was fresh and tasty and the atmosphere was just right. Will definitely be back.

The excellent food, the live music and friendly staff make for a great eating experience - one to be repeated. We've never been disappointed by this restaurant whether for grand family gatherings or a quiet lunch.

Great food with lots to pick from, great τυροκαυτερή which is hard to find around here, same with the coffee. great service with friendly staff. :) ευχάριστο
