Lovely location, excellent food and attentive service. We had the lunchtime menu which had a very good selection and was very good value for money.

Been before. Superb food and service in a lovely environment as always. The staff are very knowledgeable about the food and very attentive. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great service, very attentive staff, and lovely surroundings. The food was only average, however. Our starters and mains lacked depth of flavour, portions were small and the naan bread was quite tasteless. We're unlikely to return.

Excellent menu. The food was amazing. Spicy but not excessively hot. Somoeone in the kitchen knows their craft. Service was impeccable. The place has a nice buzzy atmosphere. This was our third visit which tells you how good we think it is.

A lovely restaurant. A beautiful room with a beautiful view and a most enticing spicy smoky smell. The food was delicious, unusual, lovely to look at and very interesting. The staff were charming and attentive and professional. Altogether a delightful experience. I'm giving it 5 and not 6 because we went on a Saturday night and had to wait longer than average for our food and it was quite noisy so sometimes difficult to be heard by my fellow diners, without raising my voice. I'd certainly go again, but not on a Saturday evening.

Great setting, good service and delicious food. Tasting menu very good. Lamb a little salty but halibut was exquisite. Wine list of good variety and not too overpriced like many restaurants of this quality. Staff were just the right mix of attentive and caring without being too pushy or overly interrupting. Well worth trying and we will definitely go again.

Excellent service and delicious food. We had the 7 course taster menu, and as the courses went on, each course became my new favourite. Completely unlike any Indian food we have had before.

A great modern take on Indian food. Service a bit slow all round. They forgot drinks at nearby tables and took ages to bring menus etc but were so scharming we didn't mind.

Good location, pleasant ambiance, food mainly good but some things disappointing. Had tasting menu which for us was one course too many and some items not clearly described - 2 dishes had tomato sauces which would have avoided if known! However the scallops, the stone-bass and the dessert were excellent. Would return but go a la carte

Although the restaurant was not busy on our visit, there was a nice atmosphere. The service was attentive without being overbearing. We all had the tasting menu; with the exception of the lamb, which was OK, the food was exceptional.

The Sindhu restaurant and staff, together with the food were as wonderful as ever. The only thing that let the evening down was the 20 min wait for our 6 drinks, (2 glasses champagne, 3 cocktails and a G&T), in a bar where there were only two tables of two. Compleat Angler, Completely unacceptable.

Dined as a group of four and ordered the "chef's table" which we've ordered before. It was uncrowded, unhurried with perfect intervals between beautifully cooked and presented dishes with subtle and intriguing flavours. The wine list does not go overboard but would have liked to see a wider choice at lower price points. The desserts need more pizazz, more zing. A little ho hum.

What a wonderful setting for a restaurant. The food was lovely, not overly spiced but seasoned just enough to make it interesting! Attentive staff though a little surprising that the restaurant was pretty empty.

Wonderful atmosphere and good service. Food is delicious especially the extra touches like the homemade sweets at the end. The only slight disappointment was the mains. The prawns in their shells were a bit chewy and the sauce a little bland. My partner asked for a hotter spicier chicken dish and it wasn't really all that hot. The naan breads were quite average too. We were expecting more I think because of the price which is why I only scored a 4. We did have a lovely evening overall and enjoyed the food overall.

excellent food once again and table d'hote menu good value. Only criticism is that the one glass of wine ordered and recommended by the waiter did not materialise. By the time we realised it was too late and indeed was not missed as the food was being enjoyed so much.

Unfortunately due to the closing of the bridge the restaurant was nearly empty. The staff were attentive and the food was "nice"not as fresh as could be but this could be lack of covers. Please send the staff to Benaras for training.

Excellent setting, service, and food! Sindu provides a fine dining experience. We have eaten Sindu restaurant food on board P&O Cruise ships as well, and we have not left disappointed on any occasion.

Every single thing was perfect. Food was perfectly presented and tasted wonderful. Service was spot on and the price was very reasonable for the quality of the food and service. The views out of the windows is pretty good too.

There's a choice at lunchtime between and excellent value limited choice three course meal and a taster menu at a much higher price. We chose the three course and it was very very nice indeed.

Nice place, good ambience however food lacks a bit of spice and could do with more of a kick, it is Indian afterall. Seems to cater for mild pallets

Great venue with a warm welcome. As this was my first visit I opted for the set lunch menu which was was full of flavour and plentiful (in fact I needed help finishing the desert). Added a couple of beers and a nan as any curry meal needs that but still dined for under £80 for 2 people so great value. My ONLY negative is £8 for a bottle of cobra......I wouldn't have minded paying that price for draught beer but a 300% mark-up for open in a bottle is a lot to swallow. Will definitely return for either taster or a la carte menu.

Overall the experience was good. Just a few things let it down. The hotel and setting was beautifull, couldn't ask for more. But the table where we was seated made my girlfriend feel like she was in the way. Waiters were having to squeeze past, one did actually did bump into her, but appoligised , and they did offer to move us but we didn't want to make a scene. I had the lamb shank , though it's was beautifully tender and falling off the bone , it was served in a gravy , and with nothing else, I had some of my girlfriends rice , but it just didn't go, I did aske 2 waiters if anything else came with it but both said that I had the complete dish . Same I could-say for the mixed starter , it was nice , but it just was lacking, considering the quality the restaurant, and that it waswas aclaimed by atul kochhar I was actually really dissapointed, but the night overall was a success I was just left feeling dissapointed.
