A wonderful first time experience. The service and food was great. Will give this restaurant a try again, no doubt.

The food was very good, but prices are high and for this reason we won't be going again. We eat out a lot and at Sokrates we spent as much as some 'fine dining' experiences we've had elsewhere. The interior is also.looking very jaded and tacky.

Last night was our first experience of a Greek 🇬🇷 restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. We visited Socrates in Horwich and were blown away by the quality, service and friendliness of the food and the staff. The food was absolutely perfect and came to the table on cue at every juncture. It was hot, well presented and the tastes were fantastic. The service was second to none. The staff were like a fine oiled machine that just kept working swiftly, efficiently and promptly and simply couldn’t do enough for you. It was our first ever visit to here and the friendliness and helpful nature of the staff was unbelievable. They helped us choose the menu best suited to us, would chat and take time to explain things and as we’re were getting to the end of the Meze banquet even came to us to ask if we’d like to carry on or were we full?! We don’t have the biggest appetites so everything we couldn’t eat they boxed up for us to bring home. It was a wonderful evening and a fabulous first visit. Needless to say we will be going back again!
