The owner was a bit much at the table. I have done studies in hosting myself and I always was told that the people are there’s to enjoy the evening, be invisible. This was not the case. My boyfriend also let me know that she was petting and stroking his back when she came to socialise, for someone who hates it that strangers touch him, I found this not professional. The food was good, but we had the sausages and rice wrapped in leafs first course and it was quick and delicious. The main course took a long time to come out do the kitchen even though we were one of the first diners there. Overall I give the restaurant 8/10 just because the food was so insanely good.

Lovely theme to the restaurant, as someone who's lived and travelled in Greece and the Islands I was pleasantly surprised it was like a traditional taverna. The main waitress was quite abrupt though, a little clinical in the descriptions of the dishes as we overheard her say the same thing to every table in the restaurant, and we could see that she wasn't happy with the younger waitress on that evening (who we have no qualms with, she was attentive and had a smile!) The meze was very rushed, dish after dish arrived and we felt a little rushed with no time to enjoy the food, we were felt we weren't eating quick enough - other greek meze's I've had they wait and ask if you're ready for the next selection. Our son young wanted to have a little more of the calamari from our meze, and instead of just addding a few to a dish we were charged with a full side plate dish of calamari with fries at £7 which we thought was a little tight. When main's and meze was over, we waited 20 minutes before WE asked to see the desert and coffee menu. Service I would say certainly wasn't up to greek standards, especially charging full price for a few bits of calamari for an eager child ontop of an over priced meze really £20 per head with no option to try more of any dish! The rose wine was expensive and not very nice (my husband said the red was OK) But we enjoyed the atmosphere and although overpriced, the food was tasty, but could have been a little more relaxed, and I'd say bigger portions - especially of the salad and dips!

Fantastic experience. Visited for a birthday meal. we both had the Meze tasting menus, and loved it. Fabulous choice of dishes that just kept on coming. Gave us a real taste of Greek food. Great service, great atmosphere and good value too.
