Really nice - different experience being in a pod! It was comfortable, pretty, brightly decorated and cosy with no sense of intrusion from other diners. The food was excellent, served by friendly but professional staff and waiting time minimal. Thank you - We’ll be back!

Really well organised with defined areas for eating or just drinking. As always, the staff were lovely, the food was great and there was a good atmosphere. Fantastic local pub!

Warm welcome glad to see us back . Pods were amazing be in. Felt safe not. Couldn't have had better servuce or food. Good varied menu. Will be visiting again.

Cut short the trip due to poor experience. Was supposed to be at the real ale pub of the year and the bar had standard lagers on. Asked where the craft beers were and was informed that they did not have any. No one gave us a menu or asked for an order and despite trying to get attention of staff, never ordered and left after one drink. Terrible!

The meal was served in the bar which was very poorly decoratedand dull The clientel wasn't the best. Plenty of F words.

Had to ask for music to be turned down as near speaker and had to shout. This was done so we could talk normally. We really enjoyed our meal and felt safe.

We had the hanging kebabs. Chicken and steak. They were both tasted really good. Also had chips with bacon and mushrooms with bbq sauce, these were also really nice. Will deffo be having these again. 😊😊

Very accommodating staff who helped with an off the menu request for my 3 year old son. My only criticism was that my steak and ale pie was very hard and obviously dried out under the lamps on the pass. However we will be back very soon!

I have both eaten and drank at the Stamford Arms in recent weeks, it has demonstrated an excellent standard of Covid-19 government regulations and has maintained this throughout the pub premises and in their provisions. They have been consistent in their approach, for example; Once they have filled their safe customer quota, they do not negate their responsibilities to customer safety and ensure the stream of people is within regulation, providing us with a reassuring and safe dining experience. They are an excellent example to other establishments on how to do the ‘new pub experience’ well and safely. The staff are approachable and are always readily available to provide sound advice. The food was amazing and hot on arrival. The Stamford Arms is by far, one of the best pubs to go to in Leicestershire. Thank you!

It was busy due to the 50% off, but food was served in a reasonable time and price was incredible, definitely will be returning

Limited food choice if eating outdoors, prepack dry bread on both choices, lettuce on it's own is not a salad unless in France

Food was great but not a lot on the menu for vegetarians. They had also sold out of a lot of the dishes.
